Accurate Real Estate Appraisals Reviews (3)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference I have detailed the reasons I do not accept: There was no formal contract written, just MrL.'s agreement to have the appraisal completed in 7-daysActually the agreement was on 8/7/which was a Friday and MrLsaid he would have it to me by email by the following Friday or no later than the following Monday (7-days) I did phone once before arriving at his office on 8/20/15, only to get voice mail and no response by MrLWhen I went to his office days had lapsedWhen I asked MrLabout the appraisal he stated that his secretary had been out do to a death in her family and assured me the appraisal would be sent by email the next day(8/21/15)I said ok confirmed he had the correct email address then leftOn 8/27/I again approached MrLat his place of business and asked him where the appraisal was and he said, and I quote "I put it on the back burner" at that point I asked for my money back and that I would use it to hire someone elseThere was no response of financial distressI was asked to leave and did after letting MrLknow he had not seen the last of me, and again asked for the return of my Mom's money or the appraisalHe again asked me to leave and I did only to return a couple of minutes later and knocked on his doorHe stated through the door that he was calling the police and I agreed and said I would wait for their arrival in the hallThere was no threatening or irate manner used by me what so everThis is all a fabrication made up by MrLMy assumption is that MrLis also assuming his secretary would agree with his fabrication, I am betting the truth will prevail. He states the State Police came when in fact it was the Sheriff's Department that had arrivedHe also state that there is a police report that can be obtain if neededWell I went to the Sheriff's Department to do just that when I was told by the Officer at the front desk there is no such report, It was resolved on siteWhen the officer arrived he explained to me that this was a civil issue that would have to be resolved by the courts, and that I was on private property and would have to leave, I did with no further instanceThere was no threatening of arrest just another fabrication from MrLMrLstates that the email was sent on 8/27/15, it was never receivedIf it had been received on 8/27/than I would not have hired another appraiser on 9/25/15, who incidentally returned a written appraisal to me by USPS in business daysMrLalso states he mailed a written letter addressed to me at my Mother's address ...again never receivedIf it had been received I would have requested a resubmittal rather than paying someone else $to complete the appraisal I needed that appraisal so that my Mom could apply for MedicaidMrLsuggest that there is a portion of the appraisal that can be had upon requestwhy a portion? MrLalso states that there is a Certified Mail Receipt for his response ...was that to us? I would like to see it as I never signed for anythingMrLalso submitted a document showing when his email to me was supposedly sentThat document is written in word and is not a copy of the sent emailI have included a copy of a sent email that I sent to NYS Licensing Complaint department for your comparisonIn closing I would like to thank you for the time spent on this and hope that MrLwould return my Mothers $

Revdex.com spoke to Jeremy at business and the following was relayed: The agreement was to complete the appraisal within 10-14 business days, which we did do as we stated we would. Both an email and certified letter were sent. The consumer acted irrationally and did have to be removed by the police.

It  should be noted that the appraisal was indeed ordered on 08/07/2015 however, with a reported submission within 10- 11 business days. The customer never phoned our office rather, did appear in person on 08/20/2015 in which our office informed him that the appraisal would be delivered within...

the quoted time period. The customer additionally visited, again without any prior phones calls, the office on the morning of 08/27/2015 in which he was informed that the appraisal was on schedule to be delivered on this day; the customer refused to leave our office and became threatening and irate and after the customer refused to leave, the state police were called and the customer was directed to leave the premises however, did not do so until arrest was threatened (police report available upon request). The appraisal was submitted on that date, 08/27/2015, via email. The customer later sent a certified letter on 09/21/2015 to which we responded with our policy, details of contractual obligations and a copy of the email sent receipt verifying time sent and to which email address. Please find the following to be included with this statement: Letter from the Revdex.com, 09/23/2015 (2 Pages) Letter received from [redacted]. 09/21/2015 (1 Page) Letter sent in response from Accurate Real Estate Appraisals, 09/21/2015 (2 Pages) Available upon request: Copy of NYS Police Report. 08/27/2015 Copy of Portions of the Certified Residential Appraisal Report, Form URAR Copy of Certified Mail Receipt for response from Accurate Real Estate Appraisals. 09/21/2015 Supporting Affidavits from Other Office Staff  Of Additional Note: On the customer's 08/20/2015 visit to our office, financial distress was expressed. Please review our history with your organization and additionally your recent request on the basis  of our exemplary performance history. Thank you for your time and review of this matter; we trust in your fair and accurate reporting of this matter. Sincerely, Mr. Jeremy L. CEO, CREA
