Over the last years plus we have done roof repairs on [redacted] s house Much of these repairs were gratis and sometimes we hanged only for the materials [redacted] was a good baseball player but he played in the times when the players weren't paid like the rich players today *** would always give us Cardinal souvenirs because [redacted] is a really good person But their finally came the time when he had to replace the flat roof on his house because there were water spots and leaks on most of his ceilings We recovered his flat roof in April with a one year warrantee Within a week of finishing the roof still leaked in one place After crawling in their attic during a rain storm we found it was not the roof leaking but a fascia board had rotted at a joint and was letting water behind the flat roof So we clad the fascia board with aluminum and the leaked stopped We told the [redacted] 's they had other fascia boards rotting and they also should be covered with aluminum Since the roof no longer leaked they paid us After that a couple of times I was called back because they believed the water spots on their ceilings were wet but they were not and their secretary also confirmed the roof was not leakingOn August 15th [redacted] called me about a leak in that very same spot were the fascia had previously leaked After going on the roof we saw that someone had replaced the fascia boards and in doing so damaged much of the roofing materials in that area I took pictures and showed the [redacted] 's and their son that their workers had damaged the roof and I was not responsible I also took their son on the roof and showed him the damage Mrs [redacted] did not want me to fix the roof and [redacted] did, but he wanted his insurance people to look at the roof first On September 5, [redacted] called me and asked me to fix the roof and after the dried up enough we tried to patch the damaged roof On October 13, Mrs [redacted] called and said she had turned us in to the Revdex.com and never come out to her house again There are no leaks that can not be fixed and I am sure I can fix the extensive damage to their roof from the workman but I.m sure I should only be communicating with someone younger like their son[redacted]
