We would like to provide
clarification on this matter. We were
finally able to connect with the actual owner of the cat who had been away and
left the cat in the care of a cat sitter.
She had been a long time client of our practice. We explained what our procedure
is
when we are presented with a cat that is very sick and the owner is not present
to make life decisions
It is our policy to keep
the cat comfortable until we get the owner’s consent to move forward with next
steps As mentioned, the owner has been a client of ours for several
years and she has always gone the extra mile for her kitty “Callie”. She was very understanding and apologetic about
what happened and agreed completely with how we handled the situationShe stated
that she would continue to come to us with her other kitty
Therefore, we went the
extra mile for our client and refunded the “cat sitter” who had brought Callie
inThe matter is now settled and we would appreciate it if this matter can be
removed from your records without prejudiceWe pride ourselves at Just Cats on
providing the best medical care both in the interest of the cats and their
respective owners
