Review: I contacted this business to REMOVE a tree stump in my yard. I talked to the wife of the business owner. She told me the price and I agreed. They said they would be out that day or the next. They showed up on June 7, 2013 after 5:30 p.m. on a Friday Night while we were working. I specifically asked to have my stump removed. On Saturday, June 8, 2013 I went to plant a tree in the spot where they stump was to be removed. Less than six inches down, was the stump. They had covered it up with shavings. I contacted [redacted] the owner immediately and he told me they don't remove stumps only grind down a few inches. I asked why I was not told that and he said - no one takes stumps out they only grind them and I should have known that. My husband then talked to him and he was very rude but did tell my husband we would not be charged. We then received a bill. I called and talked to a bookkeeper and told her of my conversation with [redacted]. She initially told me she was not aware of that conversation but later in the conversation told me that [redacted] said he did not agree to that. Not sure how she can stay both things in the same conversation. This business has not sent the bill to collections. I do not believe that business should be able to lie to get you to use their service and then say they won't charge and lie again.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop billing me and remove this bill from collections

I have spoke with Mr. & Mrs [redacted] a couple of times. I have the invoice that states, grind stump, clean up, level off and fill whole with chips. I informed them that when we do stump grinding we go 6"-8" below ground level and that is what was done. We do not say "remove" we say "stump grinding", along with our web site states the same thing, it states as follows: "We specialize in tree care services from trimming and topping to tree removal and stump grinding. Our trained and certified technicians are experienced and available to take care of any tree or lawn maintenance project for residential and commercial customers." "Our Tree Care Services Include:

That is straight off our web site. I have sent this to collections because, I offered many options to clear this up and have not had any luck collecting on the services that were done per there request. The job that was asked to be done, was done accurately and in a timely manner.
