I once clicked in to Accu-weather to get a weather update. They must pay to be on top of the list. They were the first one that I could click on. Afterwards I keep getting notices from them. At first it contained ads. I contacted them and they told me how to get rid of ads. It was a click on a non-appearing wheel. One would have to know it was there because it did not appear until I hovered over it and then I was able to click on it and dismiss the ad. I wonder if even tekkies know how to do that. I am eightyish and don't claim to be computer literate.
I trusted this advice and a few minutes later the accu-weather annoyance appeared again. It wasn't an ad, but it was nevertheless an annoyance. I hovered over every part of it and did not find another wheel to delete it. I am sincerely disturbed by its annoyance. I did neither ask for this or know I would be subjected to their invasion on my computer. This must be stopped for me and I suppose all other people who click on their website for information. It is not right! Give me some relief, privacy and leave my computer and me alone, please. In fact it popped out of the right side of my screen as I signed on to write this. Talk about poetic/computer injustice.
