I called to repair a GE Monogram Side-by-Side refrigerator. The tech diagnosed the problem as a failed inverter. He charged $393.00 for the replacement, and $250.00 labor. The part, according to GE, costs only $177.00. The time to repair was only 40 minutes. This is a ripoff. I paid him his $45.00 service call fee, and sent him packing. Do not do business with this price gouging company.
