To whom it may concern, [redacted] came to our shop to get an estimate on damage to his [redacted] ***> I wrote him an estimateHe then told me that [redacted] was going to cover the costs and insisted on leaving the vehicle even though it was legal and drivableHe went and obtained his rental and said he didn’t want to drive his truck looking like that [redacted] informed him that it would take to days before they could even look at the truckI also told him it would be at least a week before I could even start the repairs because it was not scheduled.We repaired the damages on the rear of the truck according to [redacted] assessmentDuring the repair we noticed additional damage on the upper center bedside were the impact had caused it to buckleWe then attempted to contact [redacted] Insurance company on the supplemental damages [redacted] would not respond to usRather than waiting any longer, we decided to proceed with the additional repairs with the intent of making [redacted] happy and for good customer relationsWhen we started the additional repairs and we found previous damage in that areaWhich literally started failing outWe had to remove all pre-existing body work and the whole bedside which was approximately $in additional work which we did not charge forWe completed the repairs and made [redacted] happy without any additional chargesIn fact, [redacted] received [redacted] in a refund due to the difference in our estimate and [redacted] estimate, and he did not have to pay his $deductible.If it were not for the additional damage that we found, the previous body work that we had to re-do, [redacted] Having dropped his vehicle off unscheduled, and having to wait for [redacted] to come back and look at the truck before we could start on it, the vehicle would have been completed in a more timely matterIt is by no means the fault of Ace Auto Body that we had to the vehicle longer than normal [redacted] has picked his vehicle up and is very happy with the work and service we providedHe told is that he was very satisfied and couldn’t tell that it had ever been wreckedWe did what we needed to do to the best of our ability under the circumstances and considered the matter closed.Thank you,Robert H [redacted]

To whom it may concern,** *** had his *** *** towed to our lot for an estimate
We wrote him an estimate of repairs for the damage to the front end as he
requested** *** then informed us that the vehicle was totaled by his
insurance companyHe informed us that he had decided to keep
the vehicle and
have it repairs rather than taking his insurance check and buying another vehicle
** *** asked us if we could get the price down as much as possibleUpon this,
I searched the salvage yards for as many used parts as possible and was
somewhat successfulI called ** *** and informed his that we could save him approximately
$off the original estimate and he told me he would let me know.After approximately weeks had passed, ** *** came to the
shop with the case and told us to do the jobI informed him at the time that
it would take at least weeks before I could start on it due to the extent of the
damages, and the fact that it had to be put on our frame equipment in order to
repairs which, at the time, was occupiedWe started his vehicle approximately
mid November as we had informed him we wouldAs I stated before the vehicle
was a total loss and the damages were extensiveWe did the repairs and
installed the necessary parts for the vehicle to be ready for paint by early
December.When we repair a vehicle with damage this extensive we can
only estimate repair time due to other possible hidden damages or problemsWe feel
that this vehicle was repaired in a very timely manner considering the extent
of damage and work neededWe found additional minor parts that were needed to
complete the repairs which we did not charge ** *** forWe did however find
that the vehicle had a bent right front strut which was not included in the
estimate of which I informed him that he would have to pay about $** ***
has a detailed estimate or repairs which has a detailed itemized list of parts,
repairs and refinished work** *** then informed us that there was no exhaust
on the vehicleI informed him that we do not do exhaust work here and at this point
would need to go to an exhaust shopWe were delayed finishing the vehicle for
a few days because we could not get his vehicle startedWe found out the spark
plugs had been fouled due to the oxygen sensors missing with the exhaust system
We installed new plugs at no cost to him and have completed the repairs.We run a very high volume business and are unable to start
on any vehicle immediately without it being scheduledDue to the circumstances
and the extensive damage of this totaled vehicle I felt that we did the necessary
repairs in a timely matter and through it was almost destroyed in the accident it
now looks like it was never wreckedI’m confident that when ** *** does pick
up his vehicle he will agree that the repairs were done correctly and in a

before we could start on it, the vehicle would have been completed in a more
timely matter. It is by no means the fault of Ace Auto Body that we had to the vehicle
longer than normal. [redacted] has picked his vehicle up and is very happy with
