Review: I am filing a complaint against Ace Auto Sales. I got a 2004 Saturn Vue from them on 9-23-13 and did a buy here pay here type thing. As of today, I only had $2,000 left to pay on this. Having said all that, my vehicle broke down 2 weeks from today, roughly around November 30, 2014. I was told by a garage that towed it, that my transmission went out. I called Ace Auto Sales to tell them what happened and they insisted to have it towed to their garage, the name of that is [redacted]. He told me the transmission definitely did go out. So, he gave me some prices, for a new one would be 5,000 and for a used would be roughly $2,000. After doing research and calling around, I found that all Saturn Vue's have what they call "Plague" transmissions. Basically this means that they are all bad and you can't even have them rebuilt. So my decision was to NOT have another transmission put in it, even my mechanic told me that it could go out again, and again. So I wasn't going to keep putting all this money into a vehicle that I could go buy another one for that price. I asked Ace Auto Sales if maybe he could give me another reason after doing the research or possibly some money back and let him keep the vehicle and he said I was CRAZY! This guy KNEW what they sold me, and it's the fact that I had it only a year and it did this to me! Now he won't let me have anything else out of this vehicle that is mine, he is charging me all this money basically because he went and picked up the vehicle. I now don't have a vehicle, and this business is a huge scam!!! They are only out to get people's money, not to mention when I originally got the vehicle they charged me DOUBLE the price from what it was actually worth. Please help me to not let these people get away with this! These Saturn Vue's are a huge hazard to the road and these people knew that! Not only are they are a small dealership, but they are also a garage that knows about vehicles! Also, he told me he is going to RESELL the vehicle!Desired Settlement: Something needs to be done, this guy is going to resell this vehicle for the price I paid for it! It isn't even worth $2,000! My insurance stuff is STILL in the vehicle along with personal items! My insurance has paid 2 towing bills as well. This guy does not deserve anymore money! HE is VERY rude! this business is a huge scam artist!!!
