Insisted on taking vehicle to his mechanic however became combative when asked information on mechanics name and to
Confirmed if licensed. Was advised did not have to disclose if mechanic was licensed with state. A full investigation should be completed on this establishment.

I am responding to the complaint from [redacted] ID # [redacted] Mr. [redacted] came by the dealership on Friday April 22, 2016. He was interested in a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta we had for sale. All vehicles are sold on a first come first serve basis. At no time was a contract or agreement to purchase...

signed to secure the vehicle. It is unfortunate that Mr. [redacted]'s first 2 attempts at financing were unsuccessful and he was not able to complete the purchase on Friday. We gave him the name and phone number of one of the lenders we use. On Saturday Morning we received a call from  the representative at the lenders office that said she had a potential approval, however, Mr. [redacted] still needed to go to the finance company to go over figures and sign papers. They are closed on Saturday. The representative was in the office filing paperwork but cannot close a loan on a Saturday. At this point the customer was still not committed to purchasing the vehicle. On Saturday a customer who had looked at the vehicle earlier in the week, Before Mr. [redacted] returned to purchase the vehicle. Customers look at vehicles and usually need to think about it or check out  their financial situation. Many times customers will miss a vehicle because it will sell to someone else. Especially if it is an in demand vehicle. I understand that Mr. [redacted] is upset, but we did not do anything wrong. Review: I went to Ace Auto Source on Friday 4/22/16 to look at a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta I test drove the car and worked out a deal with a lady on the car she said to use my credit union because her finance people were high on interest rates so I went to my credit union to try to get finance for the car and they told me the car was to old so I went to my bank I use and they told me the car had too many miles on it so then I called Ace Auto Source and talked to a guy and got a number to one of their lenders I called them Friday afternoon and was approved for the loan so I called back up to Ace Auto Source and let them know I was approved by this time it was closing time for Ace Auto Source so first thing Saturday morning I called Ace Auto Source and talked to a guy there about the financing and told him I was work today and would be in first thing Monday morning to get the car The lady from the finance also called Ace Auto Source and told them I was approved after all of the phone and communication between me and them the lady calls me at almost lunch on Saturday and told me she sold the car so know I got loan papers the finance company has ready for me Monday morning to sign for the vin number of the Volkswagen Jetta and the car was soldDesired Settlement: I want the car I spent the day trying to buy
