She test drove a 1997 Acura TL. She was told that she could bring her mechanic to check the car out, but she said that she has always bought her vehicles on her own. Our test drives are a certain route, per our insurance policy. If a customer request to take it on the interstate, we allow them to do so. [redacted] never asked to take it on the interstate to test.[redacted] came in the office and decided to purchase the Acura. We sat down and discussed the financing. She traded in her 2000 Dodge Durango. She was told the vehicle was sold as-is. The Bill Of Sale, buyers guide, finance contract, As Is without warranty, are all signed by the customer. She called about two weeks after purchase and said it was leaking oil. We told her to bring it in and we would check it out. The mechanic found an oil leak at the front of the motor and would cost about $600.00 to repair. [redacted] said that we should be responsible to fix it, and we told her it was sold as is. That is when she became upset and talking bad about our business. We did try to calm her down but she would not. She called us a couple of times and came down to talk to the owner, but he already had told her what he would do, so there was not any reason to talk to her anymore. As I tell everyone who buys a used car, I can't and won't promise that your vehicle will not brake down.I regret that [redacted] has had problems with her vehicle, but she was told before purchase, sold as is.Thank You,[redacted]Ace Autos, Inc.Consumer Response The consumer has indicated to the Revdex.com that they remain dissatisfied.

I have been defrauded in signing a contract With this company. I was signing a contract on a vehicle that only ran for 3 days.On august 5 2014 I purchased a car and on august 8, 2014 the car would not move so I had it towed back to ace auto. The next day they informed me that the transmission is burned out and I would have to pay over $1000 to have it repaired. I don't feel that I Desired SettlementOn august 5, 2014 I traded in my truck because of the many problems I had with it and went to obtain a vehicle that I could purchase to make it back and forth to work. And on august 8, 2014 3 days later the transmission went out. So I had my car towed from my job to Ace Auto. I called the next day to find out the transmission was burned out. I feel defrauded in this situation cause I would not have signed to pay a car note on a car that was defectiveBusiness Response Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint from Cynthia[redacted]. Ms[redacted] did purchase a vehicle from us. The first vehicle she purchased was a 2002[redacted] on February 20, 2014. She had the vehicle From February until August, and we were not aware of any problems with it. She came in on August 5,2014, wanted to trade the vehicle, because she was having problems with it, so we told her to go and pick out another vehicle, and she chose the 05 [redacted]. We gave her an allowance on the first vehicle of $2500.00, more than she even put down on vehicle. The vehicle did not have any transmission problem when she left in it, When she brought it back to us the transmission was burned up in it. I do not know why she is so hard on cars, but we did not have to trade her out of the first car she tore up. She was told if she wanted this car fixed, she would have to pay for the repairs on this vehicle. She does not have a drivers license, so whoever is driving her vehicles, are very hard on them. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the office number 901-396-6656Thank You[redacted]/ Ace Autos, Inc.

Ace Autos gave one of their own customers a title and bill of sales to a car they had not even paid the first car payment on they resold the car.Ace Autos gave one of their own customers a title and bill of sales to a car they had not even paid the first car payment on they resold the car to me. I visited the location on several ocasions in regards to the matter and the young lady that works in there refused to get me in touch with the owner to state my claim. The customer's name is [redacted] and he purchased a [redacted] on 3/20/15 from Ace Autos. At the time of purchase he paid $1000 down and he was immediately given his title which makes no sense if he still owes almost $4,000 to Ace Autos, so instead of him getting the car registered he post the vehicle for sale on his [redacted] page and I purchased it for $2000 but shortly after the purchase I went to the Shelby County Clerk office to register the vehicle and thats when I found out Ace Auto holds a lien on the vehicle and I learned of all of this. Ace Auto is a rip off car lot and they resell cars over and over again because after research they have had this title switched on so many different occasions its ridiculous.Desired SettlementI would either like my $2,000 back I paid fkor the vehicle or for Ace Autos to release the lien so that I can register the vehicle. Why did they give this man a title to a car he doesnt own for him to turn around and rip someone off.
