[redacted] To Whom it may concern: In regards to the case id mentioned above, Ace Chem Dry did go out to clean the carpets on 12/28/ The customer called Ace Chem Dry days after the cleaning to schedule a re service Their reason for the re service was that someone had left dirty footprints on the carpet, The owner contacted the customer to inform them that their would be a $dollar trip/ service charge as this was not a pre-existing condition and something that had occurred between the cleaning and the date that they called The customer said that she would talk to her husband and get back to us if she still wanted us to come back, we didn't hear back from her so her re service appointment did not happen At a later date she called back and wanted us to go back free of charge, at which we told her that our policy is to go back free of charge if the issue was something that we neglected to take care of, because this was an issue that occurred post cleaning we did not feel it fair or warranted a free re service The client then issued verbal threats because we were unwilling to go back out for free and hung up on usIt should be noted that at no time did we ever say that they would need to repay the full amount for us to returnWe informed them that we would waive our minimum charge and only charge the $trip charge as the clients home is a good hour away from our office It should also be noted that before we leave any job we have the customer do a walk thru/ final inspection to make sure the job was completed satisfactorily, The client did sign off on the invoice that he was satisfied with the work that was done, he also signed off that some stains may be permanent The animal throw up stain was treated but would not come out completely, the stain was located right against a baseboard so we were unable to fully remove the stain without damaging the baseboard, the client was fully informed of the effort made to remove it, and that we were unable to completely remove it We are still willing under the original offer of $to take care of their issues and feel that is more then fair, as it is obvious that the re service request was not damage that Ace Chem Dry caused or left behind It has always been our policy to delight our customers with great customer service and a wonderful cleaning experience, we feel that we have done everything to this point to ensure that this is the case.Sincerely,Marc and Teri B [redacted] Ace Chem Dry [redacted]
