*** *** to address rose croft houston, tx Home owner *** *** concerning the A/c not workingThe technician Abram started his diagnosis first at the thermostat seen that it was degrees in the home and the AC was On but not coolingHe went upstairs in attic and looked around thoroughly and found no mechanical failures with the upstairs systemHe then went outside to check and found out that the outside unit was overheating the compressor and fan motor due to lack of maintenance on the condenser coil outsideThe diagnosis was that the compressor was overheating along with the fan motor and shutting down after drawing so many high ampsbecause of the poor condition on the maintenance from the condenser coilOver working the unitThe the contract with *** *** *** clearly states in black and white that they are not responsible for any kind of lack of maintenance on the home owners endThe technician Abram then spoke to the wife who was there at the time and explain thoroughly what the situation was and how much it would cost two deep chemical clean the condenser coil outside and address the A/C problemThe wife then told the tech.to wait while she made a phone call to her husband and talked about the situationThe techwaited outside for approximately minutes As the lady spoke on the phone discussing everythingAfter waiting mins.the lady findly came outside and handed the phone over to the techAbram who spoke to the husband on the phone and explain the situation to him as wellAt the time the technician stated that both Adults we're totally coherent and understanding what was said and understood the cost. The husband and wife then both agreed to pay the company $to chemical clean the AC system and to begin with the workThe techAbram then begin working outside and performing The Deep chemical clean on the outside condenser coil as agreed. Upon completion the techcheck the refrigerant levels and amps on motors outside and found no mechanical failures at that timeThen went back inside to turn the AC back on and waited for the home owners father to show up with some money as the A/C was cooling down the homeThe father showed up and went outside with the techAbram to look at the unit and saw that the work had been performedBoth the wife and the father paid the company $and signed a legal invoice from the company in handwriting with her name signature and dateThe technician then gave the wife the receipt and the wife said have a nice day and the tech Abram leftAfter about an hour the office reported that the homeowners kept calling stating that the company charged too much and they wanted to talk about reducing the price on the cleaningThey never stated anything about the AC not cooling and the company did not hear anything from the Home Warranty company regarding the claimThe office reported only receiving strange private calls from the homeowners stating that they wanted to talk about the money and it was our last chance Furthermore after talking with the companies attorneys there is no law brokenOnly a legal invoice with the homeowners agreement to pay with signature and date Attached to this email is the original invoice Abram AAceComfort Air Conditioning/Heating, LLC Rothwell StHouston, Tx Office Phone: 281-658- Email: [email protected] Website: www.acecomfort-tx.com

Regards, I am not satisfied with the resolution due to the fact that the only thing he did was a chemical cleaning and he STATED he did a tune up which he never did on the receiptThat's supposed to be a legal document that he lied onHe is licensed just like the company that came out to fix our AC, they fixed it with no problem.Why he couldn't detect what they detectedThat's not fair to me or my familyI will not except 50% out of 645.00, It cost under tonot even that much for a chemical cleaning....that is a rip off and it is not right!!

The company wants to let you know we appreciate your business and your feedback and is willing to offer a refund of 50% of the payment via check, which will be mailed out to the address you provided on file. The refund would include the AC Tune up fee as well as a small fee for the inconvenience experienced. Greetings, First and foremost we'd like to apologize for any inconvenience and thank your for your customer feedback. Unfortunately the customers warranty company does not cover leak detection for which the company charges a standard $250.00. As for the repair, the technician found leak in the...

evaporator coil beyond repair and would need replacement. However, further authorization would be needed from the warranty company, for which he was denied. Regards,
