Review: service technician came to my house to fix a zone valve for my oil burner. He caused a greater problem when in the course of his service he shorted out the digital controller for zone control of the entire house. While performing the service he had to disassemble the second floor thermostat. He did not have the needed parts to complete the job and left saying he ' will be in touch' leaving my entire house without heat. He never called back. I contacted his business phone by calling, left a message, his personal phone by text. He did text back he 'has bad service and i'm looking for a controller'.( He never indicated to me during the time he was here that he destroyed the controller and I would need a new one.) At that time I replied "ok, do you have a time estimate?", I never heard back from the technician. Later that night I texted to him "do not return, you are finished here".

I called several local service companies at that time and they all agreed that given there was now no heat in the house the technician should never have left the job. I agree and feel this complaint is warranted.Desired Settlement: I believe this company has caused me further damage and feel Ace Heating LLC should reimburse me the amount I am paying for the new equipment that is being installed and for the service call of the company I have contracted to fix the problem he caused.

Review: On November 17, 2014 Ace Heating (Job Invoice #[redacted]/Description of work-cleaning:morning) cleaned the furnace to my house. I explained to the serviceman that I was not getting hot water throughout my house, at best it was warm. I needed this problem fixed being that we are into the cold weather months. The serviceman accessed the issue as needing a tempering valve replacement(Note! Needs watt tempering valve). On November 20, 2014 Ace Heating (Job Invoice #[redacted]/Description of work-replace tempering valve) installed a tempering valve on my furnace. This was to resolve the temperature problem and I would have hot water. I tested the water temperature throughout the house and it was now hot but no pressure. The water drizzled from every spout. I contacted Ace Heating by phone and informed them of my current situation. On November 22, 2014 Ace Heating ( No Job Invoice- customer wasn't charged/photos of work performed can be forwarded) replaced a nozzle on the piping to my furnace that allows the flow of cold/hot water through the house. This did not alleviate the problem. I further explained that before the tempering valve was replaced there was no issues with water pressure in my house, the water just wasn't hot enough. Now I have hot water with no pressure. Ace Heating was to contact a plumbing company they are affiliated with to clean/unclog the coil to my furnace and this would allow hot water as well as pressure in my house. I have attempted to contact Ace Heating by phone every day since, left numerous messages to no avail. I haven't received a response or status update in regards to when said plumbing company will fix the new problem.Desired Settlement: I would like said company to perform whatever work necessary so that I will have hot water and proper water pressure at the expense of Ace Heating or I will find a plumbing company to perform the work and bill Ace Heating for any charges.

Review: My husband and I used ACE Heating on the recommendation of our oil company and had a ignitor (transformer)for our furnance replaced in Sept.,2011. The previous one had to be more than 13yrs old since that was when we bought this house. In Jan.,2013 that is 1yr.5mo. later we had to have it replaced again. When we called our oil company they said they no longer used ACE HEATING since there were to many complaints. When the new company came in to replace the part it was discovered that the part that was replaced by ACE HEATING had a sticker on the back of it dated 08/25/06. I was then told that that part had to be a used part even though it was put in as a new part. That means it was already 5yrs old when it was put in. I was also told companies do not have these parts hanging around for that amount of time. I called ACE HEATING several times at which time I was treated disrespectfully by the grandson who worked on my furnance. I asked for a refund for this part and the service since I had to pay for both all over again. I sent a letter as well asking for a response within 2 weeks but I have been ignored. I have the part as proof and the receipt for the charges. I did not have ACE HEATING come back and fix the problem because my oil company no longer was standing by them and I get my discount for my oil by using the company they use and recommend.

Product_Or_Service: furnance ignitor (transformer)

Account_Number: invoice # [redacted]

Desired Settlement: I would like my money back since I had to pay for another company to come in and replace this ignitor. $249.92. I no longer use the credit card that paid for this service so a check would do.
