I am rejecting this response because:
Mike has stated that I requested a radon testI did notI believe this man cannot keep his facts straightAlso, even though he claims he could not run the AC due to the temperatures at the time, surely he could have measured the pressures or amount of freon in the systemAlso, nowhere in his report did he indicate a cracked heat exchangerThis response is the first I am hearing of it, which also makes me incredibly upset as I have small children in the homeHe expects me to give a name to a business that he believes is giving inaccurate informationThis, I will not doAlso, he told me that my washing machine and dryer were in good working conditionRecently due to the rain, I had an opportunity to use the dryer that came with the houseSure, the machine runs, but it seems the heating element is brokenTherefore, my clothes do not dry and now I must purchase a new dryer, which will cost me in the ballpark area of $I would like him to refund the cost of my inspection and the service call to service my ACWhich totals approximately $

I have received the complaintThe client did contact me on the 6thI am attaching the e mail to this e mailSince I sent her the e mail, I have not gotten any communication from her and her e mail that I have copied to you is the first I had hear of any issuesI assume she has not changed the
furnace and air conditioner but had it serviced and charged the compressorThat is about the amount it would costShe has a comment in her complaint that the city of Bismarck has stated that air conditioners and furnaces should be changed every yearsThis is falseI have had an issue with a local heating and cooling company who has tested for carbon monoxide in the combustion chamber and then stated that the heat exchanger was crackedWhen we got a second opinion, it turned out that the furnace was in good conditionWhen I did my inspection for this client, I did test for carbon monoxide which is a reasonable test for a cracked heat exchanger but also for the amount of heat that the furnace will generateBoth of those tests were goodThe temperature was too cold to run the air conditioner at the time of the inspectionI have that in the report so there is not a way I can fully evaluate the air conditionerIt is unfortunate that she has had this issue and I can work with her to give her a refund as per my policyThe inspection would be She had asked for radon testing and this would be considered as an add on serviceThis is valued at and would not be refundable. I will propose to refund the radon charge and the other she is asking if I am able to get her information and cooperation in finding out who did the service and who informed her this information. I would like to state that when I did the home inspection, I was not able to inspect the air conditioning system due to the low temperature nor would another heating and air professional. I also would like to state that I did not nor do not inspect washing machines or dryersThe majority of the time they go with the sellersI did recommend to change the washing machine water supply lines to steel braded lines along with adding a pan under the washing machineI also offered you the price of replacing the air conditioner with your cooperation in bringing the heating and air technician to the light for misleading you in stating that Bismarck has a policy of replacing the furnace and the air conditioner every yearsThere were many things that I had found in the inspection that we had discussedI am glad I was able to guide you in those areasThat being said, I do believe in providing a good service and customer satisfaction is very important to meI will be sending a check for to youfor the refund for the price of the inspection for the charging of the air conditionerfor your inconvenienceThank you for the opportunity to inspect your home and I hope the rest of your home ownership experience is pleasantMike *** Ace Inspections
