Ace Japanese Engines Inc

As Mr*** stated on his
complaint, ACE Japanese Engines, Incsold a used engine to Mr*** invoice
#on 9/26/2014, and he made a warranty claim on 3/15/which is days
before warranty expires. As he also
stated, our engine warranty policy is months or 6,miles
whichever comes
first from the date of purchase
First of all, we did not
refuse his warranty claim, but asked him to provide information we need to
confirm the engine is under the warranty
In order to process the
warranty claim, we asked Mr*** to provide following matters, or bring his
car in to check it out. For your info,
this is our simple warranty policy procedures
We need to confirm the mileage from the time the
engine installed to the date of complaint.We need a licensed mechanic to confirm the warranty
issue whether the problem is either internal or external matter of the engine,
not to mention to check two heat tabs we put on were melted or not. When engine temperature reaches 260F, the
center of the tabs will melt because the engine is overheated.Lastly, customer can bring in the vehicle for us to
inspect.But, first, Mr*** stated
wrong information that we need a bar/license number. He probably misunderstood our warranty
policy.Second, his mechanic called and
tried to state that there is a problem on the engine. However, after he was explained our warranty
policy, he told me that he did not want to get involved. Then, he said he would have his customer to
call back.When customer called back
after his mechanic, we explained again and even asked him to bring his vehicle
for inspection not the engine by itself, but he made a complaint to Revdex.com
instead. If he wants his engine
exchanged under the warranty, we need the legitimate information stated above
