"Who is assuming anything?  You were paid for the services we hired you to perform. You continually try to convolute and confuse the issue by bringing up nonsensical, extraneous matters.  Again, here are the two issues:  1.  We did not request a Fall cleanup.  You state that your bill says there's a $100 charge for NOT REQUESTING a Fall cleanup.  Why would I NOT REQUEST something that I'm not requesting?  It's like saying, there's a $100 charge for NOT REQUESTING that you cut down a tree.  You can't bill someone for NOT REQUESTING something, unless, of course, they agreed to such nonsense by signing something to that effect.  Did I sign something stating that I agreed to pay you $100 for NOT REQUESTING a Fall cleanup?  Please enlighten me, if so.  As for the snow removal, you state that you don't understand the notations.  What is it that you don't understand?  I'll be happy to explain it to you.

Review: I hired this landscaper, Ace Landscaping, to do weekly cutting, nothing else, at [redacted]. He took it upon himself to do something he calls "Fall Cleanup," which I never requested, never authorized, and charged me $250 for it. I explained to him that I never ordered it and we didn't even see any sign of anything like that being done on the property.Secondly, I asked him for a price to snow shovel driveway, stoops and walkways of same property. He quoted me $150 to do full driveway, stoops and walkways. He took so long to arrive that we had the job halfway done when he arrived, so he only did half the job. I explained to him that I would pay him for half the shoveling, $75, and that I would not pay for a "Fall Cleanup." I paid him the $75, and I wrote "Payment in Full" on the face of the check, in the memo section of check, which is a legally binding document if cashed. He cashed the check but continues to badger me, stating that I owe him $365.95. I have maintained all copies of my correspondence to him, including a copy of the check I mentioned. Please advise.Desired Settlement: I would like Revdex.com to contact this landscaping company [redacted], and explain to him that he needs to show some proof of my authorization of a "Fall Cleanup" in order to perform it and bill me for it. Please also advise him that he performed half the shoveling and was paid half the price accordingly, payment for which he agreed to and he cashed a check stating "Paid in Full" on its face, which is a legally binding document.
