I was in Biloxi for a Military School for Months at Keesler AFBIn November of I had my Truck towed into ACE after hearing that they did a great job and took care of their customers*** (The Owner) told me he would take care of everything and also give me a military discount, and that he always helped out the military*** later called me and stated that it was my intake Module and it could be either replaced or his technician could just fix what was not working properlyI agreed to have his technician fix what was not working on the memory module*** stated that his technician could make it pretty much like brand new again and that there wasn't a need to spend the money on a new oneI agreed and the work was completed within a few daysIn December I was traveling back home to Idaho and was making my way through New Mexico when my truck broke downI took it to the Ford Dealership who stated that my intake module had went out and needed to be replacedFord installed a new one and I was back on the road for home to IdahoAfter returning home I contacted *** about the Warranty from Napa Auto Care and explained my story*** stated to send him both receipts and he would submit the paperwork for reimbursementAfter emailing the paperwork over to *** I didn't hear from him for almost a monthAfter a month I called and asked for the status on my claim, *** explained that it had been submitted and that it could take up to days to hear anything back from Napa Auto CareHe also stated that he had submitted someone else's claim and was waiting on theirs as wellI took his word for it and waited another weeks (still no reply from ***), so I called Napa myself and after talking with them showed that there hadn't been a claim submitted under my name and that I could submit the claim myselfNapa went on to explain that after a claim is submitted you get a response in to days if your claim gets accepted or deniedAfter submitting my claim it was approved and received full reimbursement payment in business days of a check in the mailI believe that *** is all nice and talks a great game about how he takes care and supports military, but when it comes down to taking care of his customers/military after something goes wrong he is not where to be found*** customers come back because how they are treated when they come into your business and after they leave your businessWord of mouth is the best business and believe me, I may live in Idaho but I have a lot of military members that come down there for school on a regular basis and I will not be recommending your business if they should have truck/car problems*** stop lying and taking advantage of the people who protect your freedoms in having a business! I still have not heard from *** concerning my claim when this review was submitted

This vehicle was towed in and the customer said that it overheatedUpon examination we found the thermostat housing was leaking and the radiator cap was missing the small valve on the insideCustomer was given a price for these repairs and was told the head gasket was more than likely damaged
Once the thermostat and radiator cap was replaced we did a block test for the head gasket and found it to be badQuoted the customer to replace the head gasketThe customer said to go ahead and get it fixedWhen the engine was being torn down we found it had overheated so bad some of the plastic had meltedOnce the cylinder head came back from the machine shop we proceeded to reassemble the engineUpon torqueing the head bolts down some of the threads pulled outThis is very common on Toyotas that have been extremely overheatedAt this point the best option is to replace the engine or have the bolt holes rethreadedBoth are very expensiveWe contacted the customer and told them the bad newsThe customer had their mechanic call us and we explained the situation to himHe was in agreement with us and he advised the customer not to do anything with the vehicleHe stated the vehicle is not worth putting that kind of money in itThe customer wanted to abandon the vehicle for the billThe bill was about for the work that we had done to it up to this pointWe told the customer the bill could be paid and they can pick up the vehicleThe customer wanted to give us the title to the vehicle and call it evenWe told the customer that all we would do would be to send it to the scrap yard which is only worth $We told the customer it wouldn’t be worth our time and we would be losing money on the dealWe then told the customer we would drop the bill down to $and take the title to call it evenThe customer didn’t want to do thatThe customer at that point came to the shop with a police standby to pick up the car without paying the billThe officer then told the customer they had to pay the bill and if they didn’t want to pay the bill they would have to leave the premisesLater that day the customer came and paid they $and signed the titleAfter the customer left a tow truck came from *** * *** ** to pick up the car*** stated that the customer had called them to come get the car and *** said they were paying the customer $for itWe told *** the vehicle was no longer the customers to sellThis vehicle in good working order is worth no more than $The customer never informed us they wanted to have the car towed back to Louisiana to get it fixed thereI have the phone conversations recorded to prove all the above is true
