Ace of Blades Lawn and Landscaping Reviews (5)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me; however, to prevent any misunderstandings which was the case with me as their former customer, I would hope that Ace of Blades Landscaping will utilize better methods in informing their customers of special services to be performed on their property through notification of emails, phone calls, leaving voice messages, and fixing the text messaging issue for which I had in allowing for proper notice for the customer time to cancel should they not or no longer need the service There should be "clear communication" from Ace of Blades to the customer of special services will be performed detailing what will be done so that the customer is properly informed and can add their input and approval for special services to proceed Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: This company is not being honest. Though I agreed that I will not be charged for any services performed this month (December), they did not get nor seek my approval in cutting down all of my tall grasses, my Cheyenne Privets which were 5-6ft tall and now a foot in height; no permission to cut away feet of my bushes lined up against my front fence for privacy(no longer have privacy); and no permission to cut nor trim away branches from any of my trees on my property. I did not sign up for that service and Brandon clearly knows that. The only services I had signed up for was the grass mowing and trimming of the grass around the edges of my front and back yard. If I needed leaf clean-up, I had told Brandon that I would let him know. I never told him to proceed with that service. See, folks, this is what happens when a company lacks communication in seeking approval from the customer regarding services. Further more, Brandon, did not send me a text, instead, I received a "mysterious" blank text with no link, no verbiage of any kind, no identification of the sender for who sent the text message. On this text, I clicked on this "blank yellow cloud" in order to get the message- There was nothing. It was blank and I was deceived. I found out later from him that it came from the company. I still have this this blank text and it is proof that nothing was sent to me regarding this service. I receive text messages all of the time from companies and so my receiving texts is never an issue. The companies identify themselves in the text and they are successful in sending their messages for which I receive. So, I did not receive a voice message because Brandon/Ace of Blades did not leave one. The mysterious text lacking verbiage that I received was very deceptive. Brandon should have had the common decency in making sure that I was contacted verbally. He has my email address, he has my home phone number and he has my cell phone number. I never signed up for any other service on my property except for the cutting of the grass in my front lawn and backyard and that there be trimming of the grass in areas where the lawn mower cannot get to nor reach. Brandon at Ace of Blades knew this. While it is agreed that I will not pay for the pathetic and insensitive service done on my property this month (December 2017) and I am no longer their customer, I want to inform customers that they need to be aware of the lack of communication for which this company demonstrates and the total lack of honesty on their part. I have dealt with other moving and landscaping companies and I have never had this issue. They were always thorough in their communication. Unfortunately, for these businesses, the owner decided to retire and the other company no longer services the Johnstown, Colorado area. So, I can no longer utilize these wonderful landscaping companies. These companies communicated with me very well and never performed trimming services other than my grass. If I wanted trimming on my tall grasses, trees, and bushes, they would come onto my property and let me know what would be trimmed and how much or there would be that communication allowing me input on what I desired before they performed those trimming services regarding my tall grasses, trees, and bushes I did not get this from Brandon/Ace of Blades. They just went onto my property and just starting trimming all of my tall grasses, trees, and bushes at their hearts content in hopes on "racking up" costs for me to owe them as a customer. This is unacceptable because my property was fine as it was. Even my neighbors around me saw that my property was clean and nice. I take care of my property and I did not approve nor need Ace of Blades to perform any service of any kind on my property in December. They knew this already as they had not heard from me in months

I am not sure what this customer is wanting us to do regarding this matter. I agreed to not bill for this service, in a good faith effort to resolve this issue. Technically, this customer enrolled in the service she is disputing. I have attached enrollment forms and service agreement that she...

returned to us this past spring. Additionally, this customer received a notification a day before this service was scheduled informing her of the scheduling. Included in the message was our office number to contact if she had any questions or needed to cancel/reschedule this service. Our services are not contract based, and she could have opted out of this service had she responded to the message that was sent to her. How this message is delivered depends on the phone service associated with the number we have on file. If it is a landline or mobile phone that doe snot accept text messages, an automated call is placed. If the automated call is not answered, a voicemail/message is left. If the number on file is capable of receiving text messages, the message will come as a text message. Either way, we got delivery confirmation that the message was delivered. The customer originally contacted us via phone regarding the complaint, and left a voicemail. I quickly returned her call, and agreed to cancel any charges, even though the work had already been done. She then emailed, requesting to be removed from all future service lists. I have already removed her from these lists as well. Every request she has made has been honored, and the job total for the work in question was never billed, per her request. Please advise on this matter. Thank you,Brandon T[redacted], Lawn Maintenance ManagerAce of Blades[redacted]
