Review: [redacted] came to our home [redacted] looked at the water on the floor from the toilet leaking due to an obvious clog, I offered my plunger to him but he used his plunger to try and unclog, stated his girlfriend was mad because he left to go to work on [redacted], did not fix the clog, and I asked him if he was probably going to use a snake or roto rooter the toilet and he said he cannot use a snake on the pipes in Eatons Neck because the are too old, was here about 30 minutes, told us we could not use any water or toilets until he came back the next day. On [redacted] he came back removed the toilet poured sulfuric acid into the pipe, causing me a great deal of coughing and we eventually had to leave the house due to the smell and stay in a hotel. While he was there he bought a device to try and do a blowback he called it, and it did not clear. He stated the cess pool was probably full. He stated that when the cess pool guy comes over on [redacted], the [redacted] of January, he will comeback and put the toilet back on because he will need access through the pipe. He insisted on 850.00 cash before he left but said he would knock off 100.00 for a cup of coffee!!! I paid him 750.00 cash, and he stated he did not have any receipts with him.He was there approximately 1-1/2 hours, did not fix the problem, caused me harm to my lungs due to the acid and I have [redacted].He did not show up[redacted], or [redacted], and when called [redacted] he wanted another 300.00 to put the toilet back.Desired Settlement: He did not do the job. All he did was scare us into thinking it was worse than what it was. I have spent 400.00 more to get it fixed by the cess pool guy to remove a simple clog and reseat the toilet. I had to take my family to a hotel due the smell. I want my money back. He never stated upfront what his fees were and never gave me an itemized receipt because he did not do anything. Also, the reason he did not snake the pipe is because he did not have a snake. He tried to borrow one from another plumber who was busy using it at the time so he outright lied about why he did not snake it.The other plumber enlightened me regarding the snake story.
