I am sending this email in reference to my complaint against ACE Public AdjusterI filed a complaint against them because they are handling a case for us with our homeowner insurance company for linking pipe that we had in our basementThey meet with the representative from the home insurance
companyThe owner from ACE Public Adjuster informed me that they received an amount payment from the insurance company for the damages to my basement and suppose to send me documentation to sign for them to release the payment but every time I call ACE, they continue to give the run around this is not good business.*** ***, MBA

This complaint has been resolved. The check has been ready in our office. The insured was supposed to pick the check up on 12/15/17 and did not come in or came after our office was closed. During the holidays our office hours were a bit different but we did speak with Ms. [redacted] and she did come in...

to pick up her check.

Review: I hired Ace Adjusters to take the frustration out of the devastation from a flood I had in February. They came in and assured me that they would take care of everything and handle the matter quickly. It is the end of May and not only is this matter not close to being resolved, it has been more time consuming and stressful. I've gotten the run around for weeks and was even lied to about where the settlement check was sent. I should have known this was not a customer-focused company, the initial meeting involve my being told to stay upstairs during the "consultation" and "thorough review of my damages" with the insurance adjuster and they didn't know that the floors are so thin that I heard the entire conversation and none of it had anything to do with the loss and damages I incurred as a result of the flood. It was simply two ole pals chatting on my dime. In addition, they sent me a settlement form to sign without a breakdown of the ite**. Their focus is indeed on the check and not on the consumer. I don't care if they are money hungry, but I do care that I did not get good service. They did not deliver what they promised.Desired Settlement: If I decide to continue with their service; I would do so at a lesser rate, thousands of dollars for poor service is shameful swindling.

Review: We have signed the agreement with Ace Public Adjuster (APA) in March, 2014. They were supposed to represent us to negotiate with our insurance company due to the water leak we had on the ceiling of the fist floor. They have called the insurance and the insurance company sent the rep to inspect. That was good. However, later we have received the letter from the insurance company stating that they have declined our claim.

We have mailed documents to APA on March 15, 2014. they said it was a standard letter. Do not worry since we still have fund from the insurance company. On March 26, they sent email to us and said that they have not received the documents. Then, on the same day, I have scanned the documents and emailed to them. There was no response from them. On April 3, 2014, we have sent another email and asked them if they have received the our email. Finally, the next day, they responded to our email and confirmed that they have received them.

For over a month, they did not update the status of our claim. On May 12, 2014, we sent the email and asked them to update the status. Once again, they did not respond. On May 29, 2014, we have called them to see if they can give us an update. The receptionist answered. We told her that we want to know the status of our claim. She took our contact information and told her that she would talk to the accountant and call us back.

They do not initiate any action unless we call them.Desired Settlement: We would like them to get the check they promised us from the insurance company expeditiously. They should move fast since we were not informed of the status and did not settle the case for almost 2 months.

If they will not take responsibility for the case, they should release us from the contract with signed documents. So, we can find other company.
