ACE Solar

The install team is excellent (they misconfigured the batteries communications and put the wrong gauge of wire), but once you have an installation expect to be ignored.

It takes months to get someone to be to look at your system and then they will tell you "no alerts" and "system works". Even when the system doesn't work during power outages (I have batteries and a PV system). The inverter doesn't provide power from the batteries during the full connected solutions events, but that seems to be 'working fine'. The batteries didn't work all last summer, and their answer is the system has worked since installation. But the batteries have been replaced multiple times, and Solar Edge says the inverter should be re-installed.

Ace Solar has been silent for 2 months. So this is normal, 2 months from commitment until they make a new commitment (without delivering the previous one).

You have to be the one pushing for updates. Expect 2+ months for answers and expect them to not deliver on what they say. This has happened repeatedly even with the Better Business Bureau.

Ace reached out to me and indicated the PV system has worked the whole time I have had the system, which is mostly true (almost 1/2 were not connected even though I was paying for them while waiting for the batteries), they seemed to forget that I have both a PV and battery system.

The battery system was down 5 months of last year, it was installed in March, and failed in June. This is where the review comes from, then there is the year from June 2022 until now. 2 months to get someone to answer, and then come out to look at the batteries. This had a direct impact on the value of a battery system with the Connected solutions initiatives for 2 years now.
