As I stated, I am very confident that we did not cause any problems with this vehicle during the brakes getting repaired, I am confident in this decision not only as the owner but as a ASE certified technician with years experience*** the father in-law was contacted not in fear of loosing him as a customer but as a voice of reason as *** has a lot of experience with our service and because of his knowledge of carsAs with *** we have on average vehicles a month go through our facility a month to include our local police department as well as our local ambulancesAs far as the State inspection unit the head of it is [redacted] and I will be in contact with him today to offer him the opportunity to view this vehicleAgain if there would have been any voice of reason on [redacted] ’s side I would have done something to make both parties satisfiedI will not be bullied into giving something for free! My resolution to this would be [redacted] retract her and her husbands un fair reviews on [redacted] and un do all [redacted] accusations on Ace Tires page as well as her own, contact me with a respectful conversation I am confident we can come up with something that will be satisfactory for all Thank you

[redacted] ’s vehicle came to us as she said with the brakes making noiseUpon brake inspection by of ASE Certified technicians the vehicle was found to have front brake pads worn to the metal to the point it had damaged the brake rotors as well, so an estimate for repair was given and authorization was given for repair as well as a Maine state inspection to be performed, upon the state inspection the vehicle was found to need a driver front marker light bulb and rear tires and authorization was given for that as wellThe authorized repairs were made and the vehicle was picked up hours later at closing timeIt was noticed by the customer at that time that the low beam head light bulb on the passenger side of the vehicle had gone out, she immediately blamed us for the bulb going out, as we all know bulbs in your home or auto can go out at anytime not to anyone’s fault, and regardless we would have ate the cost and replaced the bulb for customer satisfaction but it was at closing timeFirst thing in the morning we received a phone call by her husband that the vehicle was making noise so we had them bring the vehicle in to examine upon a test drive on 1/9/a noise was observed from the right front wheel bearing once the car hits a higher speed” we could not operate the vehicle at the speed on the day of repairs do to snowy road conditions” we advised the customer that it has a dry wheel bearing and as it’s a hub assembly it cannot be greased as it is one piece and directly bolts to spindleAnd a noise also was heard when the vehicle turns left and right and it appears the strut mounting plates are wearing as wellAs any automotive professional would know we did not cause these noises by merely replacing the brakes, but she would not take any answers or suggestions and in her mind we are crooksnot true as you can tell by our Revdex.com score! Again in closing this statement if we in any way did anything wrong or caused a problem we would stand up and take care of any and all issues! However when nothing was done wrong and treated like we was by her I will not go beyond what we have done to this point! We also advised her if she wanted an opinion I would pay for it at any garage she wanted, but would not take us up on that offer, I wonder why!!!

I spent SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARSWhen the headlight is working upon your care to pass inspection, then isn’t working when the customer turns their car on, an IMMIDIETLY notifies you, it should be your instinct as a business owner to say, “We were in that unit, it worked when she dropped it off, and went out in MY care, it’s my obligation to make sure her car is in the same condition as it was upon trusting it in my care!” Especially after spending $700! When a car is dropped off to you, with no noises when turning the wheel, but pays to have you fix their brakes, which includes REPACKING OF WHEEL BEARINGS and now it clunks because of wheel bearingsCome on, no one is trying to bully youI’m a hard working Mother who couldn’t afford that $but trusted your companyNow, you’re bullying me by not fixing what should have not been brokenI’m not asking you to fix my strutI’m not asking for a refundI’m not asking you for anything other than: placing the headlight cover back where it was, after your shop moved itI’m asking you to replace a BULBThat was working fine when I dropped my car off, and when I started it after being in your care, it wasn’tI’m asking for my wheel bearing to be fixed as it was obviously not done properly upon changing the rotors, which now causes a loud sound when turning the wheelI work hardI don’t depend on anyone other than myself to get me by in lifeI certainly do NOT want this stress over SIMPLE thingsI paid you $No one is trying to get things for free, or bully anyoneI’m a civilian trying to do what I can to be able to drive my car safely after being in the care of your garage, ***.

As with [redacted] we have on average 400 vehicles a month go through our facility a month to include our local police department as well as our local ambulances. As far as the State inspection unit the head of it is [redacted] and I will be in contact with him today to offer him the opportunity to view this vehicle. Again if there would have been any voice of reason on [redacted]’s side I would have done something to make both parties satisfied. I will not be bullied into giving something for free!
