ACE Towing Service

The first time my Moms car was towed from my apartment complex was last month in NovemberWe had gotten into an accident with my car which was no longer drivable waiting to hear back from the insuranceIn the mean time my Mom let me use her car so I could get to work due to the fact she was on vacation in SeattleI had a valid pass in the carWe left to pick up my step-daughter and I forgot to put the pass back on the dashboardIt was down by the gear shift and still visibleThey took the car anywayDue to the fact my Mother was not on the island I had to call her and let her know what was going onShe had to send a notarized letter giving them permission to release the car to meThey overcharged us for using the dolly claiming it was company policyMy other half is in the towing business as well and knows the proceduresDue to the fact that the car was reversed into the stall and the emergency brake was not on they did not have to use a dollyThey are just being aes and overcharging everyoneToday Dec27thI wake up to my other half yelling their towing the carWe get downstairs and my other half is telling the driver I'm comingAs I was in a rush to get downstairs I didn't think to grab the keysThe driver told the person he was training to finish hooking the car up as he refused to take the L bars offHe was very hostile towards usMy other half told him they didn't completely have the car hooked upAgain he is also in the towing business and knows the procedures The driver got completely hostile towards himI was telling him its state law that he needs to drop the carHe told me noHe thinks he is above the lawAfter calling Ace Towing they claim they have to wait until the driver gets back with the car so they can watch the video because the driver claims he had the L bars hooked up and tires strapped before we even got to the carThat is completely falseThe trainee was trying to hook up the L bars which he was having a hard time withThe tires were never strappedOf course its going to be their drivers word over ours so they can keep the moneyto be exact with the overcharge of using a dolly which they did notHe also threatened to call my management company to have them give me a citation because I was standing in front of his truck telling him over and over again its state law that he drops the carWhich he refused multiple times telling me they have a no wait policyHe has a really bad attitude and everyone here knows itOn a separate occasion involving my neighbor he actually called out my neighbors son in law and told him to meet him at his house on Wahiawa so they could fightWhat kind of business are they running? They are full of crap and a rip off
