is used by all other IGSHPA certified contractors. There are countless geological potential issues with settling with such a deep excavated area (450 feet) and for it to settle (3) years later by only three feet could point to something going on underground. In addition, Upstate New York received record rainfall this spring which could also lead to other issues underground to cause such a small sink hole. Mr [redacted]'s complaint was received three (3) years after the installation was completed leaving me to believe that there are many outside factors that could have caused the issue. The "hole" referenced in the complaint is said to be 3 feet by 2 feet in size which is only a fraction of the total area that was excavated. With the information above and the forward thinking staff at ACES, we have decided our best effort moving forward was to pay Mr. [redacted] $500.00 to have the small sink hole repaired regardless of what caused it. Mr. [redacted] may use the money how he feels best and hire who he prefers to complete the repair. We feel this is the best method to keep all parties satisfied regardless of what caused it. With that being said, we would like to consider this complaint to have a positive outcome and no negative impact rating on our small, family run company. In regard to the 4 week delay from the time ACES was contacted by Mr. [redacted] and the time the complaint was filed is easily explained by the fact that a small hole that sunk into Mr. [redacted]s yard 3 years after his job was completed did not seem like an emergency.
