Beware: this business is a scam. Achievement Learning committed wage theft of 2 paychecks worth of pay. Here is proof: The wage claim no. 1617-1341 was filed with The Labor Department Of The Industrial Commision Of Arizona and a Determination and Directive For Payment of $4860.00 was made on April 7, 2017. Achievement Learning chose not to pay and a Personal Property Lien has been filed: 2017-0508438. Achievement Learning refuses to provide a correct W-2 that will indicate this theft of wages. Form 4852 is being filed with the IRS to further prove this wage theft. This has happened to more than just me- Beware!

Review: I still have not received my W-2. Joshua J[redacted]HR head) said they would be sent out at the end of January. It is now almost the end of May and I still have yet to received my W-2. I have contacted Joshua several times through email and phone. He has not responded to my emails concerning the matter and has not returned any of my phone call. The company just moved to a new location and no one is there to let me in to talk to anyone. The company has been avoiding me sense I started asking for a copy or a way to access my w-2 online. The urgency of the matter is brought on from filling my FASFA. I cannot file my FASFA without first filing my taxes. They have never sent me a pay stub for my paycheck either sense I have direct deposit. I am very frustrated with this situation and I just want it to be fixed and I want someone to contact me from Achievement Learning to help me get my W-2.Desired Settlement: I want Joshua to get me my W-2. I would prefer for him to send me a link to access it online.

This company does not communicate clearly to parents via email or bill on an automated date. Several months could go by when they try to charge fees all at once. Many parents have complained of the same problem. They do not return calls or provide receipts for tax purposes. Their aftercare programs are not their strongpoint and I would not recommend this company for a long term provider.

There waivers actually state they take no responsibility whatsoever if your child is hurt, injured, or dies in their care., even if it is in the case of negligence. Really? I do not think so. Before this contract they actually could not find my son and had no idea where he was. After about 8 minutes, they informed me he went to the bathrooom with a new employee. Wow ! They did impliment walkie talkie upon my suggestion and angry phone call. It still took them days to respond to my phone call then.

Read their contracts carefully. As an educator, I chose to go else where long ago. However, I still have not received an EIN number for tax purposes and it is not listed online. However, no one is able to return calls or reply. No surprise there.
