Review: Had Acj come to my home to install a new compressor in my refrigerator.After a few weeks it did not cool anymore. They returned and said after lookingAt it, that it was leaking freon from a line. They said they repaired it. Also saidThat if it began to not cool again to call them. Again it began to not cool.Again they addressed the line and said the same. Again it began to not cool. Upon calling them for the umpteen time, I was told they would call me for an Appointment. That was 2weeks ago. Now no call backs and no answering of My calls. Repeatedly I have left messages with them. I was charged 544.50 For the work done. The tech openly admitted that a line was the problemFrom the install they did. So why not repair it properly. This is my frustration. Besides the blatant, no call back. I satisfied customer.Desired Settlement: Just repair properly so I can get on with life.

Review: Nov. 3. Placed a call to a company for repair of appliance.Nov. 4. Service man arrived. He removed the broken part and said he would order a new part and return to replace it. I was asked to pay a % and wrote a check for $364.00.Nov. 8. Repair man returned and installed the part. However, he said he tried to re-use the fan blade of the older part with the new motor and although it worked it made an awful noise due to the scrapping of the bent fan blade. He said that he would come back the following Wed. (Nov.12) with a new blade. I paid for the balance of the repair, $40.Since then, he has not returned, nor will he accept any calls from me. In addition, the fan blade has fallen off the motor and the appliance is not working at all! I also found out through a phone call to the company that ACJ contracted as a dispatcher, Laplace Appliance Repair [redacted] ###-###-####, that they are no longer booking his appointments and they can't get in touch either!Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed $404 or have the company make good on its completion of replacing the fan blade so that my appliance can work properly.

Review: On 12/11/13 I hired ACJ Appliance Repairs LLC to repair my sub-zero fridge & my Thermador oven. I paid over 1600.$ for these repairs. The contract stated after 90 days parts & labor were non-refundable. However, the repairs were not done within 90 days. My tenant can bear witness to this as well as my phone records. I was reimbursed about 600$ because the new computer pad for my Thermador oven was stolen out of the workers car, which he said Thermador Co. would not send out another one. I called Thermador Co. myself & they said they had no problem replacing what had been stolen. So that was not repaired. The sub-zero fridge freezer still doesn't work. After many missed appointments by this company, loss of work by me & my husband waiting on said appointments, I was informed by the company they would not reimburse or repair said appliances because I called too many times. This is completely unacceptable. I truly waited as long as I could in hopes they would step up to the plate and handle the situation. I was sorely mistaken. So here we are almost a year later, no response to my calls. I never want another person to be ripped off as I know I have been and that's why I'm filing this complaint. In closing I am very unhappy, and would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. [redacted] BUYER BEWARE!!!Desired Settlement: I want my money back: 225.$ recharge for sub zero, 290.$ for evapor fix sub zero, labor 629.$. Because the work was not done!It's been almost an entire year & I feel very taken advantage of.

At this time, I have not been contacted by ACJ Appliance Repairs LLC regarding complaint ID 10278173. They refuse any contact. In addition I was informed by the receptionist [redacted] that they would no longer continue to do the work they promised, that was not done within a ninety day period as listed in the contract we signed. The reason that I was givin by [redacted] why they would not either refund my money or complete the work. ( The freezer still does not work. It is a sub-zero new costs over 4,000.$) was because I called too much throughout the months of December 2013, (which was when we hired the company) until September of this year. I have over 1600.$ invested for work never completed.

Review: I paid in advance for a repair on my refrigerator. I was told it would be two weeks for the part,after two weeks he never showed or called. So I got in touch with them during the third week. he came out and the new part was broken. He told me it would be another two weeks for another part to come in. That was the last time I spoke with him, he would not return my calls at all. I disputed the transaction through my bank, who gave me a temporary refund but then took it back because ACJ sent them a letter stating he did the repair.Which is a complete lie. The charge was for $219.90Desired Settlement: It is only right that I get my entire payment refunded Immediately.
