blazeMr*** evidently did not make a very good case with the insurance adjuster in dealing with that issue, and choseafter the fact, to come after us, After all of his contents had been returned to his home and put back in place, he submitted a list to us of items he felt we should pay forThe majority of the damage to those items was not the result of anything my company had done and were therefore unjustified, in my opinion, but I agreed to pay the total amount of his list as an accommodationHe accepted the check and signed off on the listHe then asked for the name of a furniture refinisher which he was givenHe now claims we had agreed to pay additional charges for whatever that refinisher would charge to repair every item in his home that needs it, including some damage that we took pictures of before we first loaded his furniture to take to our warehouseAnother blemish that he demanded we fix was already on the furniture before the fire, according to his wifeWhen he called me about these new claims, I reminded him of the agreement concerning the first list and told him I was not going to pay for anything elseAfter he called me "* *** ** ***", I concluded there was nothing else to discuss, and I ended the conversationAn unfortunate aspect of our business is that some people become very opportunistic when benefits are offered and try to "game the system" for whatever else they can getI know that we did the right thing by him. Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  
     I believe Mr. H[redacted] has failed to communicate properly with his employee Elias who has been aware of the situation since the beginning.  He actually was the one that told me he was going to pay for the broke/missing items and that his company would contact and pay the restoration technician. They even sent 2 different people to take pictures on two different occasions of our furniture.
     We had no reason to mistrust ServiceMasters because after a couple of weeks and many phone calls we received a check and the promise that a person they usually use for this kind of situations would come by and fix it.  After a few more weeks and a lot more phone calls they brought the technician.  My wife asked for a separate estimate to fix some scratches that were done before ServiceMasters services.
     Again we don’t want money, we want our furniture fixed.  We never asked for them to fix damages they did not cause, only the ones they did, the fact that my wife asked for a separate estimate should prove that we are not trying to take advantage of them.   Again, ServiceMasters employees dropped my formal dining table right in front of us, and immediately reassured us that they would take care of it.
     We had no reason to worry about it and knew it was going to take some time, but when Mr. H[redacted] took over  since Elias was on vacations, he said he didn’t know anything about it and that we already had been payed enough.  This is the reason why we brought the Revdex.com to help us with this issue.
