This consumer response was received by Revdex.com staff member AH via email and is a copy/paste[redacted] ,I just received a certified letter from Billy B [redacted] dated 12/stating that Aclara has denied my claim for breaking my garage door opener when Aclara installed a smart meter at my addressI exchanged numerous emails on 12/with Billy, and today is January 4, so I find the date of the letter a little bit confusing The letter states that the installer made every attempt to notify us before the meter exchange That claim is simply false Nobody knocked on the door or rang the doorbell My wife was home and said nobody made any attempt to notify her She was actually scared because she saw men out in our yard and then the power went off Thank you[redacted]

I  exchanged numerous emails on 12/28 with Billy, and today is January 4, so I find the date of the letter a little bit confusing.  The letter states that the installer made every attempt to notify us before the meter exchange.  That claim is simply false.  Nobody knocked on the door or rang the doorbell.  My wife was home and said nobody made any attempt to notify her.  She was actually scared because she saw 2 men out in our yard and then the power went off.  Thank you.[redacted]
