ACLS Class

Review: I recently received "certification" by ACLS Courses online for an ACLS renewal certificate. According to their website, they are "nationally accepted" and serve "healthcare professionals." So I was shocked when I heard from the travel nurse agency that I work for that most hospitals will not accept non-AHA ACLS certifications. I was obviously upset after paying $164.95 to renew my certification through ACLS Courses and discovering that I had to take another expensive course through AHA to be hired at any of the jobs I was applying to. I contacted ACLS Courses through their "contact us" page (they have no e-mail, phone number, or address on their website visible, but you can contact them by writing in a little message box) asking for them to explain how, if they are nationally accepted, they can explain that their certificates are not accepted in American hospitals. I requested a refund as they have false advertising on their website and their card is useless. I was sent an e-mail that did not address me by name and had no name or contact information signed to it telling me that they could not refund me and they didn't understand why the card was not accepted at hospitals. I responded with the following e-mail for which I never received a reply: "The below is a direct quote from a travel nurse agency I work with. 'You cannot be on the floor without AHA certs and this is hospital regulation.'I would like a list of what hospitals use your certification as according to your website it is nationally accepted. Also, I would appreciate having ACLS courses' main physical address, phone number, e-mail address, and the name of whom I am talking to as I plan to follow up on this." In ACLS Courses about page they mention they have "superb customer service" and are the "first choice for online ACLS certification and recertification by healthcare professionals worldwide." I question whether any of these statements are true and would like to know who would pay $164.95 for a piece of paper if it's useless?Desired Settlement: ACLS Courses makes false statements they are unwilling to answer to with upset customers which makes me wonder if they are even a valid business. Their customer service was unacceptable and unprofessional. Other nurses and health care providers should not fall into the same trap as me, and I think this business should be investigated. I want all $164.95 of my money returned to me. I, at the very least, deserve to be replied to as a customer when I have valid questions and by someone with a name.
