The complaint concerns the premium terms for a bail bond posted to release the complainant / criminal defendant from custody. MrA*** was arrested under Penal
Code Section 646, for stalking charges.After contacting Acme Bail Bonds to arrange for his release, MrA*** was very intent on paying the lowest possible amount to obtain his bail bond. He repeatedly asked for discounts and a lower rate, eventually agreeing to a 7% premium rateThe paperwork executed by MrA*** and his Indemnitor all reference a 7% rate. After entering into the agreement, MrA*** became fixated on the idea of paying less than what he had agreed. It is apparent by the course of conduct in this matter, as well as his underlying criminal charges, that MrA*** is a person that has issues with obsessing over thingsAfter agreeing to the 7% rate in writing, MrA*** first asserted that he had only agreed to a 3% rate, then he settled on4%. He repeatedly harassed the employees of Acme Bail Bonds with phone calls and text messages at all hours. He threatened to bombard Acme with negative reviews if he was not given a 4%rate. When Acme held him to his signed agreement, he followed through on this threats and posted negative reviews in various social media sites, as well as filing a complaint with the Department of Insurance.

Review: The consumers and other member in the family took out a bail with acme bail bondsman for a bond of 400,000 four hundred thousand, I call acme and they sent one of there clinte down to my sister in-laws where we had a few of our family member there and she explained the contract to us by telling us that all we needed to do was pay 8% they were asking for at that time was 32,000.00 thirty two thousand and all we had to do was make sure that he appear in court and that the bail was good until court was over. so we end up paying 40,000 and the consumer has attend all his courts. then we get a letter from acme stating we own them another 40,000.00 forty thousand we were at a lose. we told them we paid the money last year. they said it a renew no one told us we had to renew every year at 40.000.00 each time we would have not sign with them now they try to scam us again I try to make a settlement and try to put this behind us and again acme promise one thing and sent in a contract another I never been so fooled there never said we had to renew at 40.000.00 every year not once did they mention it. we never done this before they took advantage us. I've call other bail bondman company they said they never heard of this kind of practice. also I had my sister call acme to get some info on how to bail someone out and how it work and not once did they say she would have to renew every year. help.pleaseDesired Settlement: I want to not have to pay what they are asking for I tried to do the right thing but again they try to pull a fast one on us saying they will settle on 10.000.00 ten thousand. but when I got the contract they state that we georg pulido and I Julie pulido will pay 10.000.00 for the frist 6 mo. and I ask them what happened after that they want another 10.000.00 and on . we try to settle don't know what to do at this point help
