Job was not completed, new sewer pipe was not covered correctly. There is still a small ditch over the pipe and small piles of dirt beside the pipe.
He picked up the final check on 8/27/2018 and I mentioned it to him then, along with some old pieces of pipe that were left in the yard. He said he would take care of it that weekend. A week later I checked on the house and nothing had been done, so I called him. He said again he would get it over the weekend (that was Labor Day weekend -- Sept 1-2/2018.) The next time I checked the old pipe was gone but the hole was still not completed. I called again, he never returned my call. I then sent several emails which he ignored. I have the emails, I just don't know how to attach them for you to see.
This job was completed. There was a damaged sewer pipe 8 foot deep in the area we excavated. That pipe was repaired and inspected by the municipality and all of their list of issues with the house and sewer were resolved. There is a visible area where the excavation took place. That is normal. We mound the dirt around and excavation for settling. With all of the rain in the past 3 months this particular job may have settled more than normal. Last time I looked at it it was basically level with the surrounding area that was over two months ago so it had settled quite a bit in a month. We will take another look at it and if it has settled excessively we will spread some topsoil around the site. That is the extent of what we can do, we do not do landscaping.
