Very high quality and quick service provider

I was very impressed by Acme Igor did a great job on my garage door He showed up and complete the job on the same day as I called and his price was fair Highly recommend Acme Tech!

My airconditioning was normally working before the contractor started fixing itThere was a water dripping from the coil and *** (contractor/owner)from acme tech services came and checkedAfter inspection he said it only needs insulation and its for water to drip because of humidityHe said the coil needed insulationI agreed to pay him $to fix the insulationWhile putting on the insulation, he tried moving txv sensing bulb and while moving I heard and saw an air coming out from the bulb, that is when I notice that something brokeAfter that my air conditioning never workedHe said that he is gonna file the problem to HMS home warranty and he can not do anything until their decisionAfter month of waiting and No Air Conditioning the claim from Home warranty was denied, they said it was pre-existingI called *** and let him fix the problem but he said he will not do itThe water dripping from coil was cause by humidity and not from anything broken in the sys

I do Air Conditioning and Heating system repair and replacement many yearsI do installation of new systems, and servicing old systemsWhen I working on old systems sometimes some parts of system can brakes easily just from one touch of it just because of age of that equipment or partMany
materials after age becoming brittle, rotten, rustedWhen I working with this old equipment everything can happened, and I do this work very carefully as much I can to avoid any additional breakage or damage on that equipmentBut anyway it can happen, rusted bolts brakes when you try to remove them, rotten metal falling on small pieces, brittle parts crackingAlso during my work I sometimes collide with improper installation of equipment by unqualified persons, what also lead to breakage of that equipment sooner or later And I can’t be responsible for breakage of these parts and materials, if they broke, cracked, or fall on small parts because of age of those parts, or improper installation *** placed claim thru his Warranty Company and I received this Work Order from Warranty CompanyI came for inspection of AC problem at *** residence by customer requestThis Air Conditioner is years oldCustomer stated that how it seems for him there is some condensed water dripping on top of the furnace, and he worried that water can cause some damage on the furnaceCustomer pointed me on dried signs of water on top of the furnaceI checked all around and said to customer that I do not see any problem at this pointI said that now everything looks dry, and there is no reason to do anythingI said that possibly at some time in the past water came from suction line of air conditioner where was installed sensing bulb of TXVI said that I can try to do modification on that place, move sensing bulb inside in to evaporator coil case (where it usually located), and reapply insulation on suction lineBut, I said, my opinion as technician is that there is currently no problem, and no reason to do any modifications At beginning seems that customer trusted me and agreed with my opinion to leave it how it is until some real problem or failure occursI was already in my truck and ready to leave, when Customer came to me and said that he changed his mind and he need to do this suction line modification and insulation anywayI removed old insulation from suction lineThere was very tiny place for sensing bulb installation, but installers somehow fit it in there and attached sensing bulb to the suction line by clampI released and removed clamp from sensing bulb and then I heard some sipping sound like pressurized air coming from somewhereI started looking where is the source of this sound, and found that sensing bulb copper tube is cracked and gas came out of sensing bulbI was disappointed that it’s happened right in my hand, but I know that I did not performed any move, that can cause breakage of copper tubeUnder condition copper tube can be several times bended before it will be cracked or brokenI did not bended sensing bulb or copper tubeIn that occurrence these copper tube crack shows up as soon I released and removed clampIt possible that when other technicians installed it in that tiny place they hardly bended this tube, then they attached sensing bulb to the suction lineNothing happened before I released clamp probably because sensing bulb and tube was under tension of clampAnd as soon I released clamp, holding sensing bulb on suction line, this crack on copper tube shows upI do not see here any my fault in what’s happenedI performed my work very carefully, because I understand of possible breakage of old equipmentBecause Customer has a contract with Warranty Company for servicing his Air Conditioner (AC), I said that I will place my report to Warranty Company about this failure on AC and for all necessarily repairs of this failureWarranty Company denied authorization for AC repairReason was “Preexisting condition of failure on AC”After that Customer called me, and told me that it is my responsibility for repair, because of how is he thinking that I broke itI do not agree with that statementHow I stated to Customer, all that happened because of tube was damaged before me, and cracked in my hands when I touched itI did not used any tools, any excessive tension by my fingers when it’s happenedCustomer hang up the phone, and before that he told me that he will file a lawsuit against meI completely understand his feelingsI was disappointed tooBut Customer did not want to discuss with me this situation on the phoneI also felt very upset with all that happened, but unfortunately customer didn’t want to talk to me to find out some resolution of that situationThen I received this complainAs an act of good relationship with customer, and as an exception, and to release my sadness of that case, I can compensate to Customer cost of Coil for AC repair I amount of $
