ACME Reviews (%countItem)

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Albertson's affiliated ACME Markets has repeatedly sent out "We're hiring" "Hiring immediately!" SPAM emails to their customers who are only subscribed to their Just4U Rewards and Just4U Recall mailing lists, so it's practically impossible to unsubscribe from these irrelevant SPAMs without being disconnected from Rewards and Recall emails customers do want. Such SPAM emails have persisted, in spite of complaints emailed to [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] and Cc'ed to Albertson's CEO ***@albertsons.com (whom I only heard of because he already emailed all the Just4U customers about the COVID-19, as well as acmemarkets.com's Domain Name Registrar [email protected]. Apparently those complaints have fallen on deaf ears. So failing a resolution via Revdex.com, my next step would be to complain to the FTC and other agencies. It's annoying enough that we customers are getting bombarded by businesses from past and present with COVID-19-related emails, it's unacceptable that Albertson's/ACMEMarkets deem it acceptable to flood customers with unwanted for-hire SPAM unsolicited and unabated, in spite of direct complaints.

We apologize for the
inconvenience our email messages have been. Due to the circumstances with the
COVID-19 virus situation, our stores are considered “essential”. We are
reaching out to the community for help during this time. We have currently
stopped certain email campaigns for at least two weeks. If we feel it is
necessary to again ask for help from our community, we are planning to not
email our Just4U customers.Again, please accept our
apologies. We wish you all the best and stay healthy during this challenging
time.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Sincerely

In December I had purchased(3)gift cards in the amount of $1,500. The gift cards for families in need of the church I attend. I had purchased the wrong gift cards that my pastor stated to me. I went back to Acme on the 7 of December to get a refund and, it has been a hassle with trying to get a refund. Acme has been giving me the runaround since December of 2019 and, has not even given me any kind of compensation and, told me they are not going to assist me at all. I have been a loyal customer to Acme since they first opened up their stores and, to be treated so unfairly is beyond belief. I would like a solution to this matter immediately and, something from Corporate offices since I have been in contact with them as well. I am upset with being treated so poorly. Being a consumer my entire life I have not been treated so poorly. I would like my refund and, I would like an answer to why I was treated so poorly.
