Thanks for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.  The facts as we know them are summarized below:1. ACMI is a management company who supports the board of directors in the subdivision where Mr. [redacted] owns a home.2. Recently a neighbor requested and received approval for a storage shed...

the design of which Mr. [redacted] does not believe is consistent with requirements in the deed restrictions.3. He has sent several e-mails to disagree with that decision and has clearly stated his dispute is with the shed and that responses received have not satisfied those questions.4. Attached are the last couple of e-mails related to this subject to provide support for this summary.5. The questions raised by Mr. [redacted] have been forwarded to the board of directors for the association for their handling in view of his dispute of prior decisions.7. Please let me know if there are further questions.Regards, Bert [redacted]      Sent: Thursday, April 06, 2017 2:56 PM To: Info Subject: Re: [redacted]I do not agree.  Who do I talk to about this?  I asked that question in my earlier emails.   I have $750,000 invested in this neighborhood and I don't want to see my investment fall.  [redacted] Sent: Thursday, April 6, 2017 2:53:50 PM [redacted] Subject: RE: [redacted]  Thanks for the notes, siding on homes is normally hardy plank and it is an approved material for use on homes within the community—see page 7 of the design guidelines.   Thank you, ACMI Information Desk Regards, Bert [redacted]

As indicated in prior response this issue has been forwarded to the association board of directors for their handling.  This was transmitted to this home owner via e-mail -- copy provided to you and him through Revdex.com again a few days ago.   He needs to direct any further questions to the board and not [redacted].  If he wants to transmit additional information to the board we will do so if it is sent to [redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
Thank you for the information regarding the approved building materials for use on homes within the community.  I was aware that fibrous cement board siding (hardy plank) was acceptable material within the [redacted].  It is my understanding that only two to three houses in the community have such siding and not the house with the shed that is in question. The initial question dealt more specifically with the guidance for Storage Sheds (Outbuildings) found on Page 13 of the design guidelines.  This passage states, "Outbuildings shall use the same materials and architecture as the main residence."  As asked previously, I am seeking clarification on which aspects of the shed materials and architecture are the same as the main residence?  If I am missing the use of hardy plank on this main residence please correct my error by pointing it out.  If there is no hardy plank on this residence, then I fail to see how this shed is compliant with using "the same materials and architecture as the main residence"  as stated in the aforementioned passage. If the interpretation by [redacted] and/or CRY HOA is that any building materials approved for the community may be used for any outbuilding on any lot, then the passage needs to be amended.  At present, the use of the words "SHALL USE THE SAME MATERIALS AND ARCHITECTURE AS THE MAIN RESIDENCE", clearly indicates that the materials and design must match the main residence on that lot!

1930 Macondray Woodland Pines ACMI is a management company who works for a number of home owner associations. The payment Ms. [redacted] is discussing relates to the annual fee paid to the Woodland Pines HOA and not ACMI.  Owner paid the 2016 assessment of $412.50 on 1/28/16 to Woodland Pines...

HOAShe sold the property on 8/24/16Prior to the closing ACMI as the management company provided a quote to the title company stating that the HOA dues of $412.50 were paid in full for 2016.It is the job of the title company to prorate the annual dues.  In this case they should have credited the seller, Ms. [redacted], for $137.50 and collected $137.50 from the buyer. The Woodland Pines HOA nor ACMI the management company receive a copy of the settlement statement so we are not able to review it to determine if Ms. [redacted] was paid $137.50 at closing.  She was told to review her HUD statement and go to the title company if she wasn't given the credit at closing.  We assume the title company closed the property correctly.  However,  if there are any funds due  Ms. [redacted] she would need to work through the title company. I have attached the quote we provided that shows the HOA dues were paid for 2016 prior to closing.I  have also attached the copy of the portion of  the HUD statement we received after the closing took place.
