RE: ID ***DATE: 2/1/18*** *** entered the manicuring program at Bella Beauty College, San Antonio on 09/06/and was scheduled to complete the program on 03/18.17.Ms*** signed an agreement to pay for her program as follows: Downpayment of $500.00 Payments of
$to begin on 10/15/with a final payment on 01/15/of $2,330.00.Ms*** paid payments of $each on 10/22/and 11/25/16.The third payment of $due on 11/15/and the Balloon payment of $2,payment due on 01/15/were never made.Ms*** indicated she was experiencing financial problems and could not meet the due deadlines; Bella Beauty College terminated Ms*** enrollment due to non payment of tuitionin addition, a tuition reduction voucher offered ONLY if the student met the pre-agreed installment payments on the due date was revoked.Mrs*** requested Bella Beauty College to discount the balance for the program on multiple occasionsIn addition she requested that she be allowed to complete her training and the tuition balance due be set up on an extended payment planBoth requests were denied. In early March 2017, Ms*** indicated that a check to pay for her balance had been mailedFirst she said the payment had been mailed to the Bella Business Office and then she said the payment had been mailed to one of the Austin schoolsNeither of those address are published and Bella could not determine why she would have sent payment out of City when she was attending the San Antonio campus.Three to four weeks elapsed and payment was never received in either of the Austin OfficesAs time went by, Ms.*** placed calls to the Bella San Antonio location continuing to request first a reduction in the amount owed and then to be allowed to complete her program while paying on an extended payment planFrom March to December 2017, no additional mention was made of the payment that she had reported that she mailed to one of the Austin offices.Ms*** had spoken with the San Antonio employee in late December and said that she had opened a salon and needed her license to workIt was later confirmed by outside individuals that she was performing services without a license in the salonBella sent an email to remind Ms*** that performing services without a state license is an illegal act for which she could be fined by the State Regulatory Agency. It was at this point that Ms*** said that payment had been sent to the Austin officeNo record of any payment was found, so Bella instructed Ms*** to contact her bank and determine if the Cashier's check had been negotiatedMs*** returned and reported that yes her bank confirmed the cashier's check had been negotiated at which point the Bella office requested written confirmation from the bank, the name of the bank, and the name of a bank official who could also verbally confirm detailsBella's office made numerous requests to which Ms*** answered the bank would not confirm or give information to either she or her husband. In all correspondence and contact with Ms***, Bella has continued to request payment for the past due amount to which Ms*** has become agitated, continued to insist without providing documentation that a cashier's check payment has been made, and threaten legal actionIn addition, Ms*** has insisted she needs to be apprised of her balance due and wants to complete her training with an extended payment plan for the balance.Attached is a statement of Ms***' account.Ms*** states a cashier's check which she purchased to pay for her training was sent to Bella and subsequently that check was negotiated; however she has not provided the name of the bank, the bank official or proof a check was actually purchased and subsequently negotiated.Ms*** reports that she is filing legal action and that she has filed a complaint with the state regulatory agency and has continued to ignore multiple requests for the name of the bank, the name of a bank official and a copy of of the negotiated document.Without this paper trail of information, it is pointless to move forward to attempt to resolve this issue

TO: Revdex.comFROM: *** *** - Bena Beauty CollegeRE: ID #***DATE: 8/15/17You have sent me two letters on a complaint filed by*** *** *** *** *** ** ***Ms*** is a regular customer fn that she comes in for hair care services almost every
weekMs*** is aware of the pricing and services; services that are provided by students in training. On 07/22/17, Ms*** came in with her daughter*** *** signed both customers in asked BOTH of the customers if they wanted a SHAMPOO/SET only and both replied yes*** *** questioned ..ONLY A Shampoo/set because she knows that when Sty***g Ethnic hair, that 99% of customers want a style which is NOT included in the Shampoo/set price„...but Ms*** knows this because she comes in FREQUENTLY for services.*** *** was the instructor supervising the c***ic services that day and she walked to the other side of the building to check a service on another customerin the process she saw that both women were receiving additional services, Ms***, color and Ms*** a flatiron (cur***g iron service) and she instructed a student to puli the service tickets so that she could add the cost on the ticket. In the meantime, both ladies' services were completed and they walked to the front and *** *** charged for the service on the ticket WITHOUT the additional services. When *** *** returned to the front desk and noticed the ladies outside in their car, she asked what happened and *** *** said they had checked out*** *** went to the student, *** ***, inquiring what services were conducted and he confirmed Shampoo/set/coior and Shampoo/Set/Flatiron.At that very point, Bella could have filed a police report for THEFT OF SERVICE, but Since Ms*** is a regular customer, *** *** called her and told her that she had to return to the school and pay for the services that she received or she would not be allowed to ever again return to the facility.*** *** was very firm, because all stylists, all customers, alf students, all INSTRUCTORS know that there is no misunderstanding as to what the cost Is for ethnic services AND Ms*** is a frequent and regular customer of the school.Ms*** returned, was very loud, persistent, cursing but she did pay for the services that were rendered.Ms*** then called Bella Business Office and ! wrote down her information and said I would check with *** *** and *** ***After reading both of their incident reports and talking with *** ***, I called Ms*** back and told her what *** *** told meMs*** continued to argue and talk loudly and I finally said that you, Ms***, knew that *** *** undercharged you and you did not correct her, but you knew that the price of $was TOO LOW for services for both customersShe continued to say she thought she was being given a discount and I said I would have believe that if you were a first time customer, but you come practically every week,She continued to argue insisting she wanted her money back (even though services had already been rendered) and finally said, ok, no more, she was talking so loudly, overtalking, interrupting, insisting, then you need to find an establishment that will perform the services you need for the lower price and I told her not to come back.Somewhere in the conversation, she told me she had already filed a complaint and I said what and she said that she had filed a complaint and I said before you even talked to the Business office, you filed a complaint...l said that settles it, you cannot return to our establishmentYou knew you were undercharged and when it was pointed out to you by *** *** you argued, raised your voice, cursed, harrassed Ms*** and now when I pointed out the same, you talked loudly, overtalked, interruped, insistedYou knew you were wrong, you areno longer to come for services. She apologized and said she realized it was a mistake and she kept talking and said no, *** *** made a mistake $when you really owed $for both you and your daughter, no, you just need to find a salon/schoot to perform your services. She continued to argue, talk, overtalk, talk loudly and t finally said thank you, I am hanging up.Shampoo/Set/Color and Shampoo/Set/Flatiron.....and Zutema *** made an error by charging only $although she asked twice when both ladies "checked in" SHAMPOO/SET only and both said yes.Beauty school prices are roughly 50% of salon prices, so Ms*** was already receiving a bargain and then to file a complaint before she even called the business office for clarification.Ms*** lives in Hutto which is approximately mites to drive in for servicesI am sure there is a school closer where she will be able to receive services at discounted prices. If she had not been a frequent, continuing customer, I could have said misunderstanding, but not, this timeThe regular receptions, Carolyn Cox was out for a personal day and Ms*** realized that and took advantage of *** ***
