Acorns Securities

On 1/10/2020, I submitted a refund request to Acorns via their app to be credited to my original funding source (***) in the amount of $175. They advised it may take 3-5 business days. I waited that period of time but it was not refunded. I followed up by submitting three additional requests via the app between the dates 1/20/20-1/31/2020 as well as three requests via email from 1/24-2/7/2020) and to date they have not refunded the money. At one point they advised they refunded the money on 1/15/2020 and to check my account. I re-checked and advised they had not. They asked me to provide a pdf of my Jan 2020 bank statement which I did and that clearly illustrates no refund has been given to me from Acorns. For this reason, I then closed out my Acorns account for the balance, concerned that Acorns does not pay; that amount is $59.36 on and that has not been refunded either. Once I closed my Acorns account, access to all prior messages with Acorns and the ability to to send further new messages to Acorns is lost: a message displays that Subscription Cancelled. The only option in order to gain access is to re establish an Acorns account.
