Review: We rented a house with Acquire Realty in Surprise, Arizona for a year and a half.

We moved out on June 30th 2014 which we left the house in amazing condition, better than what we moved into. The backyard has a pool, garden, fire pit, flower beds which we maintained daily. We took pictures of everything to protect ourselves. We received our deposit back and noticed that we were charged $200.00 for landscaping fees. We contacted Acquire and left a message with the front desk for a call back to discuss the fees. After a week of no response we contacted them again, left another message. Couple hours later [redacted] called us back, we discussed the landscaping fee. [redacted] stated that they went out to the home on 7/07/2014 to do the final move out conditions and noticed that there were 2 foot weeds every where. I told [redacted] that once we move out that we are not responsible for the keep up and that everything in the back yard is going to grow. We had a huge beautiful garden and informed him that he could be talking about the garden. I asked him if he had any documents or pictures showing the weeds he is talking about, he stated no. We took pictures again on 7/17/2014 of the entire back yard and no landscaping was completed. We informed [redacted] about this and he requested our pictures. We sent him pictures in via email. We have called and once again left several messages with the front desk to get this issue resolved. We took pictures again on 7/22/2014 and nothing still has not been done to the back yard. So we are being charged $200.00 for landscaping that has not been done. Acquire never contacted us or provided us to let us know when they would be doing the move out inspection which is against the Arizona Law. Plus they did not give us a detailed description nor proof of the fees that they are charging us. The only this we got was on our check stating the $200.00 deduction. I have called the direct office left messages, sent emails, even called there direct cell phones and still have not got anything resolved.Desired Settlement: We would like to have our $200.00 back.

I've lived in my house for 3 years and they have never received a late payment nor have they had any issues with me in the whole 3 years. Knowing my financial situation, I have asked several times to speak with the Mark. When I call the main line, Edna said some extremely racist comments to me including that I did not know how to speak proper English. I was calling to speak with Mark and Edna would not put him on the phone. Instead she made racist comments and hung up. When I tried to call back she would not answer the phone. They keep raising the rent but will not keep up with their property in accordance with the state law. They are slum lords and shouldn't be allowed to rent homes.
