ACR Auto Repair

I wanted to replace my rotors and brakes, I ran across an ad on craigslist for drilled and slotted rotors with bake shoes for 170.00 The advertisement was hosted by ACR Auto Parts in Riverside. I spoke to store representative named Chris; he explained to me that the product he sells is of goodquality. On the initial meet with Chris he appeared like a nice guy, very informative and quick to answer any questions. I purchased the rotor and brake pad combo he was advertising on craigslist. I took the parts to my regular mechanic; he installed the product. After installation I noticed the feeling I had on the paddle was not good, also had an odd noise, it later started to rain. The next morning I noticed the high performance rotors was rusted. I took the car back to my mechanic and he noticed the rotors rusting, he told me the quality of the rotors was not good quality, in addition they was not supposed to rust so early. I immediately contacted Chris and explained what my mechanic told me, Chris said he would replace the rotors with a quality he had initially explained during the sell. Upon arrival 3/13/18 I spoke to Chris about the replacements he promised me, Chris stated that he did not have the replacements, Chris also stated that he needed to retrieve the rotors he sold me to have them treated in a chemical that will remove the rust. I told Chris that this was not what we agreed to over the phone. Chris then stated that he would rather refund me in full. I stated to Chris that I needed to purchase a set of rotors and brakes from a different merchant before I can return his product back to him. Chris agreed to a one week dead line to return the faulty product, I asked for this agreement in writing and Chris proceeded and furnished me with an agreement. I received the replacements from Rock Auto 3/16/18, I took the replacement to my mechanic and he swapped the rotor and brakes. I had to pay him an extra labor charge because it was not his fault. The next business day 3/17/18 I arrived at ACR Auto Parts at 9:40am only to find that they were closed. I called my bank and explained the situation I was confronted with. I filed a dispute with the bank, Chris is opposing the dispute, and Chris is also not willing to accept his faulty product back.
