AC's Landscape and Restoral Reviews (4)

In response to the claim, regarding the claim for the amount of 7,072 of the unpaid amount. This was the original final cost of labor and materials requested by [redacted] from both list. The bid for 1200 was the first estimate on the first list, however more work was added to a second list. [redacted]...

had spoke to her son [redacted] for the approval of the additional estimate cost of 4500 plus materials.
Our company has subtracted the 3550 that the clients have paid towards the final bill, but the 3550 was not all paid at the time of the lien. A portion of the money came after the fact. All the documentation will be provided at the time of a meeting to go over final cost and unpaid amount.
AC's Landscape and Restoral agreed to give the [redacted] a discounted rate and still will agree to those terms. [redacted] has delayed the meetings to go over the final bill and receipts. After several attempts to resolve this issue [redacted] has refused to meet due to a conflict with his job. We have plenty of documentation in regard to the final payment will be taken care of, but they have not made any attempt to resolve the matter. AC Landscaping was forced to file a mechanical lien due to non-payment and no response to review the final cost.
We can provide all the documentation from the clients stating the works looks great and the our company would receive payment which they have not.
Our company went above and beyond works conditions to satisfy the clients and their request to place the home on the market.
All we are asking is for a meeting to go over the final bill and resolve this issue.
Our company has offered to meet [redacted] at the Title Company and resolve this business transaction with no response. At that time we will provide documentation and willing to give a discounted rate on the remaining balance owed. [redacted] has refused to meet.

We would like [redacted] to confirm the date, time and location that the party agreed to meet? We have all the documentation and phone journals with no response to meet. AC Landscaping has made several attempts with no response. This left AC Landscaping Company with no choice but to place a lien for non payment of the final bill.
These consumers has been involved in several fix and flips and with a investigation requested by AC landscaping through the Colorado Labor Board we suspect we are not the first company not to be paid.
At the time of the start of the job it was uncompleted by other contractors that had left the project and we were hired to finish the work.
We have labors cost that have not been paid. We will pursue this even further with the EOC and and a law suit with a discrimination and slander charge against the consumer if they continue to place false accusations. The work provided by AC Landscaping in labor hours that has not been paid and the consumers agreed to pay at the time of completion but instead avoided a final meeting with the final bill. AC Landscaping has been discriminated against by the party. The consumers need to provide documentation and evidence for all the statements made. The consumer plays the victim but the fact remains that the work was done on the property and AC Landscaping was taken advantage upon into doing all the work provided to the consumer. The consumer played against these workers. The lien would be removed after the meeting with all party and to go over the final bill and resolve the issue. We practice business in a professional manner, all we want is a meeting to be set up with out all this he said she said. We have evidence of hours worked left unpaid. All the documentation and pictures of the work will be provided to the consumer at the time of the meeting for any rebuttal claims.
We will require all evidence and documentation from the third party that completed the work after the work was completed by AC Landscaping. This is another tactic among many more to avoid payment on the work provided from AC landscaping.

We will purse action against the consumer for the false statements and accessions made against AC Landscaping. A copy of the lien was sent out to all parties. A copy of the lien was personal dropped off to [redacted]. The consumer should take great caution in the rebuttal claim with the false statements made. AC Landscaping wants to resolve this issue. We will say it again, all we want it to meet and go over the final bill and resolve this issue. Just give us the time and date to meet, there should not be a problem with this request according to the first statement made.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
No one has refused to meet. We still see that AC Landscaping has unreasonable cost estimates. The owner of the property also never received any notification of the intent to Lien. We found out from the Title company after the fact, this has not followed legal guidelines. AC Landscaping had no other estimate or quote over $1200. We compromised after AC kept asking for more and more money with no receipts or contract and gave them $3550 in checks. After a few threats from AC Landscaping we were reluctant to have too much contact with them. We had to spend another $7500 with other companies on the house to finish all of the work needed for which we have full documentation of. In addition, After AC finished their work we had an estimator come out and they said the work from AC should have cost around $3000. Since we paid them $3550 it was thought we were being fair. Since we at no point received an estimate or quote from AC Landscaping showing that the work would be over $1200 we once again deemed he was paid a more than reasonable amount. AC Landscaping filed a completely unsubstantiated Lien and has clouded the owners title. At this point unless AC Landscaping removes the Lien we'll have no choice but to file a suit with the courts at which time AC may be judged to pay for all court/lawyer fees, all the money over $1200 back, and another substantial amount for clouding the title and all other trouble caused. Companies can't just arbitrarily decide after the fact how much they want to charge without any contract whatsoever. We actually do hope to resolve this and have everyone feel like it has been fair. Although, if we keep just paying out more money without any help from AC Landscaping we feel that we're just not getting anywhere. Thank you.

After we paid AC Landscaping for their work there has been no agreement to meet. We had a verbal agreement for $1200 after which we paid AC Landscaping $3550 because they kept asking for more money. We have checks with proof that AC Landscaping cashed our checks. We had the work looked at after and it was deemed that we already paid too much. We have pictures and statements for this. AC Landscaping kept harassing us for more and more money. We were fair, and from the provided work AC Landscaping was being unreasonable. We have a saved text from an AC Landscaping employee. This was just a normal residential sale and we don't do anything with other houses and have no other sales of homes. We also have never failed to pay any bills, the owner of the house has an over 800 point credit rating. Any fair reasonable contracted work has always been paid. We have only stated facts and if the Lien is not voluntarily removed AC Landscaping will be receive a summons. [redacted] is not the owner of this house and the intent to Lien was never delivered to the owner. We're assuming that all we will get from AC Landscaping is more unreasonable money requests. If AC Landscaping would just be reasonable here and give a reasonable amount request this would never have happened and be done. Contractors can't say 'this is our estimate' on one hand, then when they're almost done decide how much you think you should be paid. Once again, AC kept asking for more and more over and over and after $3550 it was more than fair. The $1200 verbal was all that was said and there is or was no contract. The house is already sold and AC Landscaping should do the right thing here.
