Hi, First this complaint shouldn't be opened to us it should be opened to the person that is fixing the TVThis customer brought this old TV to our shop to be fix and we told the customer that we don't fix that kind of TV here any more but she insisted to please try to fix itso as a favor we did
tried but we couldn't fix it, so we called the customer and told her that we couldn't fix it But that I knew a guy that fix that kind of TV and we ask her if she would like him to try to fix it or she can come to pick it up and she decide to give it to the technician from the other company to fix itthe other company is ***.com after she gave it to them we don't have nothing to do with this repairI told them very clear that the Technician will charge them $to fix it but they paid $for the estimate so the balance would be $and they was happy with thatso after that they been working with that other company not with us, so we don't know why she open a complain about us when it should be about the other companyI was very honest with her since the beginning but she insist to us to please try to fix it so we didThe only think that she has to do was calling me and explained what was going on and I would call that other company to see if I can help them with somethingither way I called them today I talked very serious with them about this situation and they told me sorry for this inconvenience and they will go back to resolve this problemso if they don't resolve this problem they can call me and I can keep trying to help themBut they have to close this complaint because we don't have nothing to do with this, they have to open a claim to the company that is doing the work for them witch is ***.com phone number ###-###-####Thanks

March 29, 2016To Whom It May Concern:I am writing this letter in regards the complained I received from *** *** from the *** scooterFirst, every customer that would like to drop a unit to us has to pay an estimate charge for the mechanic to be able to look at it; that is not negotiable
When we charge the estimate we always let the customer know before they decide to leave the unit with usI personally explained to *** about our estimate and she was OK with leaving the scooter with us*** paid a $estimate fee without any complainAlso, in our store we let the customer know that after the mechanic takes a look at it and diagnose the problem with the unit, we let them know that if they would like to get the unit repaired, the $that they paid as an estimate would go towards their repair price if they would like it to get repaired with usWe are not allowed to give a repair price to our customers when they first come with the unit due to the fact that we do not know what the exact problem is, and if it needs parts we do not know the exact price of the parts that need to be ordered in order for the unit to be repairedThis policy is everywhere now-a-days at any repairing storeWe always call the customer after we diagnose the problem to let them know what it is wrong with the unit and how much the repair charge isWhen she came to pick up the unit the repair price never changed, she just had to pay the 8% taxes that everyone also has to pay in PhiladelphiaI do not understand how she picked up the unit on January 9th, and now two and a half month later complained about the unitThe unit has a days warranty, therefore, is impossible to be able to give her anything on the warranty if she passed the warranty by almost two months and halfWhat I can actually do for her is to bring it back, and I can actually take a look at it and charge her only for the parts that needs to be replaced if it need any parts, If is something simple and we don't need any parts we won't charge her anything for the laborWe have no way of knowing if our customer used the repaired unit right after they leave from our store or if they waited two months after to use it like she saidWe never had an issue when it come to our customers with problems and complains, we are actually very happy to helpBut we can most definitely able to look at it and do any labor for free for *** ***I don't know why she made this a big deal by contacting the Revdex.com if all she has to do is ask to talk to the manager, and I would have been more than happy to help herAny questions or concerns feel free to call or email.Thank You,Joan V

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.   That is completely correct.  My complaint is not against them.The initial complaint I made was against [redacted], but you(Revdex.com) were unable to locate an address for that company and requested the address of the referring company.I would like to add this bit of information.  I did not bring my tv into the repair shop.  It is a floor model tv.  I walked into this tv repair store to ask if they fix this television.  He was forthcoming and stated his place of business could not fix the tv and referred me to [redacted] services.  That's is who my complaint is against.Regards, [redacted]
