The door-to-door sales people representing this company were HORRIBLE I have no problem with people going door to door I have no problem with people who purchase from those types of salespeople However - when we say "No" it means "No."
*** continued to just tell us this would "get her a free trip to Las Vegas" and even after we declined the offer for free carpet treatment (our son was asleep in the house) she continued to push, push, push my wife on it
I finally joined the conversation and was told I was "hostile" by her She is HORRIBLE at sales, horrible at marketing and does nothing to represent this company in a good light
Their MO of pushing, pushing, pushing a $3,is quite literally - ridiculous I don't let just anybody come in my house - let alone pushy, aggressive, rude, door to door salespeople
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

My sister, whom has an intellectual development disorder, was manipulated into buying a vacuum cleaner and when she submitted her paperwork postmarked within 3 business days they refused to accept her cancellation and told her it was too late. I tried to call and of course no one is available to answer. This transaction is unethical and I will not allow a company to profit from someone with a disability. Please check your messages and return my phone call ASAP. \r\n

First off, I have a "no soliciting" sign on my door, which was ignored. The salesman spoke to my husband through our window. My husband told him that we were not interested, as our 2 year old was asleep. The salesman said "It's okay, it's a quiet machine. Please, I would like to get home to my family." Ugh, emotional manipulation. Fine, my husband agreed to the cleaning, but then 2 other men came in and the first left. The other two men were nice, and they told us about the machine. One of the men, who was the supposed boss, left saying that he had to check on his other guys.

Long story short, [redacted], the salesman that did the demonstration, was very pushy and would not take no for an answer. In fact, he started getting a little mouthy with me, which made me very uncomfortable. We finally agreed to purchase the machine just so he'd leave- it was now 6pm on a Friday. Well, we ended up returning the machine to the business owner, who was very nice and who gave us back our old vacuum.

We have been harassed around 5 times from door-to-door salesman at our apartment about carpet cleaning services from A.C.T Distributing at different times of the day. This last time was at 9:00pm. First, it's illegal to solicit to an apartment complex, second, they keep coming back and disturbing us at random times, mostly at night, and it's different people each time. We were instructed to call 911 by the Colorado Springs police non-emergency line next time they come around.
