June [redacted] On April ***, 2017, [redacted] came in to GMGC [redacted] in regards to receiving a refund for a meet fee that had been paid for Dana the office manager, a visiting IGC Director Michele, and myself were the only people present He said they had scratched from meets within the deadlines and had not been contacted about money owed back since they had left the gym We all let him know the process which we pay meet entry fees and that those monies do not go to Gold Medal but that we pay the meet directors directly He became irritated and aggressive I calmly explained that I understood he was due money back and that I wanted to help him receive any money that was owed back to him I continued to explain that those fees are collected and paid directly to the meets and I myself had no money to pay him back with I would have to further inquire with the different meet directors to make sure we got all money that was due back His demeanor became threatening and we all were very uncomfortable He ended up walking out but remaining in his car for the next minand then coming back into the office beginning on the same rant we had left off on I assured him I would contact him directly via email as soon as I had any information regarding the refunds from the different meet directors He said if he didn’t hear back from us he would be back for his money.My book keeper Melissa and myself reached out to all meet directors and received all refunds back except for one that was taking some time As the refunds came to us we immediately had them sent out We kept in constant email contact to keep them informed on the status of the refunds [redacted] called the office and was very rude to our office staff member Rachel She tried to explain that the last refund had yet to be mailed to us but that we had just reached out to check up on the status for him He was not pleased and requested the email feed between the meet director and myself I sent him the email thread within the next minutes This was on Thursday June [redacted] The following day we received the Revdex.com complaint report Brittany L [redacted] Facility ManagerJune **, 2017To whom it may concern, After reviewing the Revdex.com complaint and speaking with Brittany the facility manager at the [redacted] location, I have looked into the events that lead to this complaintShe had been communicating with [redacted] and the event director at the meetThe event director had stated she was issuing a new check and as of this date we have not received that check [redacted] emailed Brittany yesterday June **, 2017, the email was forwarded to our new bookkeeper and she has responded to [redacted] and due to the confusion in this matter has issued a check for the disputed amount of $We feel that this matter has been resolvedPlease let me know if you have any further questions in this matterThank you Jeannine S [redacted] Regional Office Manager Gold Medal Gymnastics Centers
