I hired [redacted] to do some work at my home involving a CCTV system. He came to my house and repaired the problem. While he was there, he suggested other equipment that I should have. His price seemed reasonable so I agreed to the work. He insisted on a deposit of 200.00 before he could order any equipment. I paid him the deposit for which I have a receipt. He was supposed to show up on two seperate occassions and never showed or called to say he wasn't coming. When I fnally got him on the phone I told him I was no longer interested in doing business with him and wanted a refund. He agreed and said he'd mail a check the next day. A week later I still had not received any check.Called him again and he gave me some excuse and said he would come by over the weekend and give me a check. He again never showed or called and when I tried to call him it took me some time to get him on the phone. He said he would be in my area today 5/21/14 around noon doing some work and he would drop it of then. He didn't show again and didn't answer his phone one more. His cell phones message box is filled and it's never emptied. One can only assume he doesn't want to get messages from people he owes money to. His business has a maze of answering machines routes but when you start to call any extension it's all him. Each extension askes the caller to leave a message. He is obviously screening all his phone calls.I found [redacted] through a Craig's List ad. Please help me get my money back.
