I scheduled ADVANCED CARPET TECHNOLOGIES to clean my carpetsThey didn't show up at the appointed time and I didn't get a phone call, so I calledI spoke to someone on the phone who said he would call me back to let me know when to expect them and why they were held upHE NEVER CALLED BACKI left repeated kind messages pleading for them to come because I had emptied several bedrooms in preparation for their arrival despite having company in townNO RESPONSEAnd my calls suddenly get sent to voicemail on the second ringTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

I purchased a deal through *** *** and called the company to schedule my carpet cleaningI had the cleaning set up for Saturday at noonI had not heard anything by 12:so I thought I would give the company a call to see if there was a problemI spoke with *** and he was surprised that the crew wasn't at our house yet and said that they had a couple issues that morning and were dealing with some traffic problems but he would get back to meI tried calling a couple more times during the afternoon, but the phone just went straight to voicemailNo one has ever shown up or called me backI contacted *** *** and was reimbursed for the deal

I had them do a cleaning once before and was satisfiedIf I could give them stars I wouldI called them 3-weeks ago after buying a *** and confirming the additional cost for coming to my home ($30) since it was outside of their "area"We arranged for them to come tomorrow (Friday 7/15) to clean my carpets at 2pm at our new homeWhen we found out we could close on our new home earlier I wrote them via email as that is how we had been communicating and asked if they could do it any time earlierThey agreed to do today (7/14) at 2pmI was on my way to a store for some errands when they called me and asked if they could do it at 11:because they were done and were a few miles away, at first I didn't think I could make it work as I had errands and had planned on taking stuff from my old home to my new home to meet them at 2pm (mile one way trip)I called them back and said okay and then asked if for the inconvenience of having to go out there now would they consider waiving the trip charge as this was interfering with my moving plansLee was agressive and said, NO, you need to talk to the office (Jessica)I called Jessica and explained my point/position, ultimately she stated that I should never have been able to use this *** as I had used one already within a year and was not a new customerI had no clue that was a stipulationI had reviewed but didn't notice that ruleShe held her position that she wouldn't waive so I asked if she would split the difference as NOW I am doing them a favor of letting them reschedule it early and they are very near byFinally she rudely said, I'm not going to argue with over $15, you can have it, and she hung up, not answering the phone again when I tried to call her back about her rudenessLee and his associate showed up, I greeted them and welcomed them with a handshakeOnce in my foyer I mentioned that I must have upset Jessica as she had hung up on meLee became very agressive saying that they take a loss with ***So I asked then why are you using this service?! I am not an agressive, confrontational person, I am a big guy, but i'm a gentle guy, and at years old never been in a fightHe then said "Just so you know you are on our list of customers we will never do business with again"I looked at him shocked and reached out to him to ask whyI'm not sure what he interpreted in my hand motion to calm him, this is the way I communicateHe immediately took a 1/step back, reached behind his back with his right hand and yelled "You are in my personal space and need to back off!"I tried to explain that I'm not being agressive, but rather just trying to calm a situation that is errantly going the wrong wayHe continued to yell at me and I had no idea what he was reaching for behind himI was scaredI told him that he needed to leave immediately, to get out of my homeHis associate left and he did, but then he stood out on my side walk in front of my front door yelling at me to come out and finish this out thereHe said he would wait for me and I should call the police if i'm scaredHe again told me to come out finish this out sideI told him I wasn't coming outHe said, no worries, I'll sit out here and wait for youHe got into his van and sat there for about minutes and then pulled away as I was calling the policeThis is the most unprofessional, aggressive experience I have ever hadI was trying to reduce this guys anger and frustration and he began to threaten meI have no problem affording a $trip charge, but it was the point that they were screwing up my schedule that prompted me to ask, which then prompted them to put me on a "Do not service list" and then to have him reach behind his back as if to pull out a weapon or perhaps to hold back and resist being physical with me was alarmingThat's it, do not give this company your money or timeI have advised *** of the issues with full detail and have also received a full refund from *** for this

They came the first time (no issues) and then talked me into pre-paying for more cleaningsBig mistakeTook days and phone calls to get someone to call me back to schedule the next cleaningThen, they were late the day of the cleaningAfter calls and email, Lee finally called me back (at this point, I'd been waiting hour and minutes)Was told there was a "miscommunication"They finally arrived over hours lateLater, I called Lee back and said I wanted a refund for the remaining cleanings since their communication is so poorHe was quite snarky and said it was better for him since the price they were charging was so lowHe also emailed with the same snarky tone and promised a check Well, no big surprise, I had to email and make several calls before the check ever arrived 1/weeks laterBoth he and the accounts payable person lied about when the check was actually mailed given the postmarkHorrible customer service and communication
