for a replacement purpose. These repairs were doneprior to her purchase.Enclosed is the payment record of Ms. [redacted]. As you can see she hadpaid only (I) one payment of $300 in the period of (1) one year. Any otherDealer would have repossessed the vehicle after her second missedpayment. Review: I recently least a car from action auto 4/28/2014 the car came with a 30 day warranty which say that the dealer will repair 100% so a few weeks after having the car the car started to shake so on may 6 I called the manager [redacted] and he told him what was going on so he responded the I will have to bring the car in at 9:00am that's the only time that his mechanic can look at it so I said ok. may 12 2014 I dropped the car off around 9:00am so around 1:30 I received a call from [redacted] saying that my car was ready so I asked him what was wrong with the car he responded nothing nothing at all so I responded their is something wrong cause the car is shaking he told me him and his mechanic drove the car and neither one of them feel any shaking so I said well I don't know why u or him don't feel it so I goes to pick up my car around 2:35 and [redacted] wasn't there so I spoke with the mechanic and asked him did he fully look at it so he told me he didn't have to he been in this business for over 30years and if their was something wrong he will know by driving it. may 17 I took the car to pep boys and got the car inspected and receive a list of things that's causing the problem so I took the paperwork back to action auto and the told me that pep boys is just trying to get money out of me by telling me all those things and they not going to rebuild the whole front of my car have spoke with [redacted] the manager and also manager rick about fixing my car and nothing is bein done about my car at all.Desired Settlement: I want my car to be fixed or I will take a refund.

Review: I purchased a 2003 Ford Focus from Action Auto.Upon purchasing,I asked about a vehicle warranty, which they advertise.They assured me I did not need to do so and if I had any problem at all I should come to them first and they would help me out.While in Oregon,my car broke down.I called to speak with Action Auto after finding out the car was going to need a new engine and that the engines of 2003 Ford Focuses had been known to have issues with the valve seats cracking and falling out which can cause the need for an engine replacement.He assured me,they would knock off 3 of my car payments that were $254.46 to make up for the cost of labor.I felt that was fair enough and we verbally agreed to this.Over $2600 later,I inquired about this and they acted as though they would have never agreed to it, arguing I had the car for 10 months.Being a honorable person,I continued to make payments.Next my car would not pass SMOG because it needed a new Catalytic Converter.I called Action Auto,because an engine and now this.For the past 5 months [redacted] has been telling me he was calling around to people he knew to help me out.Each time I called, I never received a return call,even when he assured me I would the next day.I just paid off the car in December and received my registration a day later--still with no solution to the problem with the Catalytic Converter.My car that should have originally cost me around $6000 has now cost me almost $9000 with the completed repairs.I believed that Action Auto was an honorable company as I had heard really good things about them.They did not keep their word with these two situations and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.In fact,I will make sure people I know do not go to them because I am an honest person.The car is now paid off,but I believe they should make good with their word...I still cannot get my car to pass SMOG and must purchase a Catalytic Converter from the Ford dealership for $971 and have it put in so that my car will pass SMOG. Thus paying over $10,000!Desired Settlement: I expect to be refunded for the 3 car payments of $252.63 that was promised to me when the engine required replacement,totaling $757.89 & the cost of a factory Catalytic Converter that is $971.The total cost would be $1728.89 & I will get the Catalytic Converter installed.This is reasonable as I have been without a properly run car for most of the time I have had the car & continued to make my payments each month without condition until it was paid off.
