At this time, I have been contacted directly by Action Auto Wreckers regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They have offered only to replace the engine at my cost to remove and deliver back to them.  I am requesting to...

be reimbursed the exact amount I am out due to this engine sale.  I had to pay $4000 to put the engine in and another $1200 to have the problem diagnosed before being advised by the dealer that it is not worth taking a chance in the repair when we could simply buy a new engine for the cost of repair.  It is only fair that Action Auto Wreckers and Paul S[redacted] pay me the actual money I am out due to the fact they sold me an engine that most likely sat out exposed to the elements before sale causing masssive amounts of rust internally with this engine.

Review: I recently purchased a $4500 Diesel Engine from this company which was the worst decision I have made in all of my years in business. I paid $4000 to have the engine put in to my truck by a certified technician. When I received the engine back there were multiple issues including gray smoke from the exhaust and oil leaks. I had called and spoke with JR about these issues. He instructed me call him back when I had a diagnosis. I brought the truck to the International Dealer where I was told there were serious issues including an Oil Leak at the oil pump,mass amounts of rust inside the engine caused by the previous owner not maintaining the coolant system, and cylinder #2 had liner cavitation causing excess pressure in the cooling system also stressing the head gasket. The necessary repairs would cost 6k to bring the engine back to where it should have been before it was sold to me. After speaking with the owner of Action Auto wreckers "Phil S[redacted] he offered to fix the engine if I brought it to him but I would have to pay the 4k to have it put back in. I asked Why wouldn't you just pay the dealer to fix the engine so I am not out any more money. I am an honest hardworking individual that would never ask for anything I was not entitled to. All I want is the truck that I use to earn a living repaired at the cost of those whom sold it to me. This company offered to do what was in their best interest not of the interest of their clients. This issue is going to jeopardize my business significantly so I would urge you to think twice before you trust JR and Phil with your hard earned money.Desired Settlement: I am seeking the cost of the repairs for the engine they have sold me which equated to appx$6500

Review: Hi who may contact . My name is :[redacted] .phone ####-###-####.I was purchase a part as a transmissions from ACTION AUTO WRECKERS .The case # [redacted].when I receive the part .I find the cave in the oil pan.The driver has sign that for the this damaged.When I take off the oil pan I find inside has missing the part and has burn.I have pepper wok to show bad that this damaged.This paper work was ACTION AUTO WRECKERS require.I pay for $100.00 for the this paper work.The transmissions I was pay $1499.99 When I receive the part.The date is 05/**/2013 . I was require for retun the part .But the sale name is [redacted] he refuse.So two month over he still play game with me.So I have complaint this case.please help me up !!! I want my money back !!!

Review: Purchased replacement engine for 2001 Subaru vehicle from Action Salvage. Installed in vehicle and has engine knock, tried several times with business to resolve. Told me to drive to their location and engine failed causing tow of vehicle back to residence. Action sent mechanic to check it out via our phone conversation after getting stuck with vehicle. Action said they would call and did not so I called them today and said they are not replacing it.Desired Settlement: Refund
