Terrible place to do business I will never rent from them again or refer them The pick up took an hour and the typical walk around before leaving the lot was a rude person handing me a piece of paper and saying "Here you do it." The building was tiny, filthy and very unorganized

If I could give them a ZERO star rating, I wouldTo make a long story short, I would never rent from them againI would not recommend anyone rent from themAbsolutely everyone there is unprofessional & unwelcomingI was lied to on several occasionsThey are racistsNo one is on the same pageThey withhold informationThe fees and taxes are outrageousOn their website it says one thing, and when you show up they tell you anotherThey made it almost impossible to get a rental carThey will belittle and insult you in front of other customersNo one there seems to be trained properlyIt was truly a horrible experience renting from themIf you can, just go elsewhereDo NOT rent from themI warn you, you will regret itMark my wordsFYI: Floridians get a mile limit a day, if you surpass this it's cents a mile after thatAlso if you decide to bring back your rental days early, they do not reimburseAnd you cannot extend the rental over the phone, you have to physically go back

I will start off by saying that the only reason why I had to go to this place to rent a car is because I recently moved into a new home and *** and other big car rental companies required that I bring a utility bill which I did not have yetAction did not require any utility bills
Ok now, my experience begins like this:
I called them before making a reservation to confirm that they did not require that I bring a utility billThis was confirmed as trueI also called to confirm what exactly it was that they did need me to bring in order to get a car rentalI was told all I needed was a card with enough funds for the rental plus deposit and my license, which I hadI asked over the phone what the deposit wasI was told it would be between $200-$depending on the size of the vehicleI was only looking to rent a mid-size which I was told over the phone would be a $depositI was ok with this so I continued to make the reservation onlineThe rate at the time was $a weekNot bad I thoughtWith taxes and fees it ended up being approx $156, double the amountI still went on to reserve the rental because I needed the rental and I still thought it wasn't too bad for week
When I get to Action Rental on McCoy road by the Orlando airport, I am greeted unenthusiastically by Francisco, a Colombian maleI tell him I made a reservation and he asks for my license first and then asks if I had car insuranceI told him I do not have car insurance because I don't have a car, which is why i'm needing to rent from them to begin with because I'm using the rental to search for a car to buyHe proceeds to tell me that I cannot rent from them without car insuranceSo then I ask him well don't you have some type of insurance I can apply to my rental and I will pay? He says noMind you, I had my father in law drive me one hour into Orlando to get this car rental and also mind you that I called before making the reservation to ask what were the requirements to rent from them and I was told only a license and a debit/credit cardNot once was it mentioned that I needed car insuranceSo I was basically turned away and was about to leave without a rental
As am walking away back to my father in law's car, i'm obviously upset that they turned me away and that I now have to explain to him that we drove an hour there for nothing to then have to drive back homeAs i'm sitting in the car with him explaining to him what happened, he kindly asked well, what if we put the reservation under my name and use my car insurance and add you as a driver? So I go back inside and ask if its possible for us to do this and Francisco says ok and that they would have to apply a $a day fee for an additional driverAt that point I was just ready to get the car rental and be on my way so that extra fee was fineI agreedSo now Fransisco starts processing my father in law's information and when it comes time to swipe my card, he goes to the back gets another man named Rey and they tell me it's going to be a $depositI tell him no, I was told $over the phoneSo now Rey is arguing with me saying that it's a $deposit because of my "situation"And he rudely tells me take it or leave itNow I am really upset and was beginning to raise my voice to the point where the owner Michael heard and came over to find out what the problem was and how he can helpAfter explaining to Michael the situation, he told his two employees Rey and Francisco to proceed with the rental at a $deposit rateI was grateful for this thenAbout an hour in, I was finally able to leave with a rental carBut I will not forget how Francisco and Rey made sure to make it nearly impossible for meThey were rude, unprofessional and uncompassionate
week later when it's time to return my rental, I found myself having to extend itI call to i

This was the most awful experience with a car rental that I have ever had. I got to the airport and called the number on the reservation. I was told to wait outside and that the driver would be there in 10 min. My children and I were out there for 30 min waiting and then I called back and was told driver was on way. Once the driver got there he was exremely rude and then proceeded to drive like a maniac even scaring my children. When I finally made it to the rental company, the agent informed me that he had given away my car. He said I was passed my 30 min. I explained to him that it was because I was waiting on his driver. He tried to give me a huge van that had quite a lot of damages. I told him I was unfamiliar with the area and wasn't comfortable in something so large. He made me wait for another vehicle to be dropped off. I left the dealership and a light came on that I did not recognize and so I called them. They told me not to worry about it and the next morning I woke up to a flat tire. I called the company and they told me I was responsible for it and did not even send anyone to help me. I had to put the donut on and get a patch on tire. The mechanic said that they screw had been in the tire a while because you could tell just by the way the whole thing was worn down where it had been driven on so long. I had him tell that to the agent and requested a new vehicle. The entire experience was just awful and the fact that they didn't even check the car over and put me and my children in danger.
