Recieved a call from ACRM today while at work The agent would not tell me his name and asked for verification from me I wouldn't provide it since I didn't know who he was He immediately becomes [redacted] and says he'll come after me for failure to connect I call back as I was busy and [redacted] what was up Had to give my address and part of my SIN number to verify as I was concerned I had somehow missed a payment for something My credit has been checked by myself and creditors and there was never anything on it...but one has to check He tells me I owe over $to [redacted] from That the debt was originally for just over $and if I take his "deal" I can just pay the $ I tell him he's mistaken and that I don't have a debt from [redacted] from I didn't even live in Ontario in to accrue the debt He gets incredibly [redacted] and is yelling at me that I better have the money tomorrow I call back again to try to explain there is a mix up...he won't listen I have worked for [redacted] a few years after this date, and I also had services with them up until November This is a ***, through and through I want my name taken off their list to call and will block their number too I know my rights and this "claim" has no basis in reality nor law

Action Collection called again todayI reiterated, as said last Wednesday that the payment was made some time ago, to [redacted] ***, instead of [redacted] , for $more than was owed, (my bad) and is being transferred over to [redacted] , and [redacted] is aware of thisThey then invited me to pay the bill anyway and then get a refund from the electric company, for the amount I have already had paid to themI know they work on commission but, maybe calling someone that actually owes money would be a better use of their time? Trying to collect a bill that has been settled ishow shall I put itoverly optimistic? [redacted]

Repeated calls to my elderly mother's phone, despite informing them that the person they are looking for is NOT my mom Assured me that they would update the information and take her number off the list, but the calls continue It's almost worse that I called to correct their information - they are calling more frequently now

Action Collection called again today. I reiterated, as said last Wednesday that the payment was made some time ago, to [redacted], instead of [redacted], for $80 more than was owed, (my bad) and is being transferred over to [redacted], and [redacted] is aware of this. They then invited me to pay the bill anyway and then get a refund from the electric company, for the amount I have already had paid to them. I know they work on commission but, maybe calling someone that actually owes money would be a better use of their time? Trying to collect a bill that has been settled is... how shall I put it... overly optimistic? [redacted]

Repeated calls to my elderly mother's phone, despite informing them that the person they are looking for is NOT my mom. Assured me that they would update the information and take her number off the list, but the calls continue. It's almost worse that I called to correct their information - they are calling more frequently now.

Recieved a call from ACRM today while at work. The agent would not tell me his name and asked for verification from me. I wouldn't provide it since I didn't know who he was. He immediately becomes [redacted] and says he'll come after me for failure to connect. I call back as I was busy and [redacted] what was up. Had to give my address and part of my SIN number to verify as I was concerned I had somehow missed a payment for something. My credit has been checked by myself and creditors and there was never anything on it...but one has to check.
He tells me I owe over $1100 to [redacted] from 2002. That the debt was originally for just over $400 and if I take his "deal" I can just pay the $400. I tell him he's mistaken and that I don't have a debt from [redacted] from 2002. I didn't even live in Ontario in 2002 to accrue the debt.
He gets incredibly [redacted] and is yelling at me that I better have the money tomorrow. I call back again to try to explain there is a mix up...he won't listen. I have worked for [redacted] a few years after this date, and I also had services with them up until November 2015. This is a [redacted], through and through. I want my name taken off their list to call and will block their number too. I know my rights and this "claim" has no basis in reality nor law.
