Review: I have a restaurant business and I used ACTION company to collect my garbage. I paid 6 days pick up the garbage except Saturday. Since I used the service, they never picked up the garbage on Sunday. Every monday I have to call them to pick up the garbage. it happened so many times. They claim to refund money back for $21.78 dollar since June 11, 2014. I keep waiting for that refund. But never happen. Then July 3 , 2014 before 4th July , 2014 , they supposed to pick up the garbage . Again this time , they didn't pick up the garbage for 1 week !!!. I keep calling them every morning and beg them to pick up the garbage. Nobody showed up at all. Until July 10, 2014 I called to another company for pick up the garbage. And I called Action company that I wanted to cancel the service. Unfortunately , they charged me $231.69 for pick up garbage for 1 -2 july. I called them and beg them to refund my money back. They always said that it is under process since July 14,2014. Today ( August 29,2014) I called them again and I talked with the manager, He told me not too call him again because I wasted his time. He told me they will refund me $200 . I asked them when I will get money back. He said 2-3 more weeks . I told him I will call back again , he was mad and yell at me and told me that he will not talk with me anymore. That mean I have no idea when I will get my money back. I am so sad and I have no idea what to do. I paid a lot of money for new company to pick up 1 week garbage.. Please help me get my money back. Review: We are currently customers of Action Enviroment Group's Carting Service (garbage pick up). Our Acct # is[redacted] and[redacted]. The days we are scheduled for pick up are Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday nights. Recently, there have been a string of nights where the garbage has not been picked up and thus left on the street. As a result, summons have been issued by the city, complaints have been made by our building's landlord & neighbors. We have had a number of occurrences since the start of August. Here are the documented failures in service:- 8/5/2014 - Summons issued to our building - [redacted] - for leaving trash on the street. Violation #[redacted] The summons exceeded $100.00. To put that in perspective, our service costs $82 p/month.- 9/15/2014- Building manager lodges complaint against due to trash in front of our building's door. - 9/24/2014 (today) - Garbage is not picked up as of now - 10:40am. Video and photo evidence has been taken and can be made available. Our landlord was also notified. Stickers placed on the bags clearly indicate that these are our bags to be given to Action Environmental Group.On 9/15, after our building manager made us aware that trash was not picked up, I called Action Environment Group and spoke to [redacted] that morning. He told me that an truck would be sent to pick it up and [redacted], their manager, would follow up with an explanation and potential compensation for the failure to provide service. He was not available when I called on 9/15 and they would not provide a direct contact number or email address. However, to this date he still has not called and the infractions continue. While we have listed three incidents, please keep in mind that this has been a fairly regular occurence for the better part of 2 months. Our building manager [redacted] will verify this as well - ###-###-####. Often times we have to take the garbage back in or our landlord and neighbors are left to deal with the situatioDesired Settlement: We are requesting a follow up and refund of at least one month's service fee. This situation has caused a tremendous amount of hardship - whether it be with our neighbors, landlord, the city in the way of the summons or simply due to excess trash littering the streets in front of our entrance. They are charging us for a service they are not providing and the resulting damages are costly.
