In response to the letter ID #[redacted], I've attached the email correspondence and the invoice.  This customer had a very limited budget for a carved sign, but we were able to provide her with a carved cedar sign using 3/4" thick cedar.  This is natural wood, and variations in the grain,...

color and knots are common.  Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite difficult working with this customer.  Our original suggestion for size a layout was larger than what she wanted, so we needed to modify the design to fit her size requirements.  Then she called or texted almost daily and sometimes several times a day to make additional changes and to check the status of the sign progress.  We needed to make many adjustments and changes, and the overall time spent on this sign and this project was excessive. We sent Peaches a picture of the sign, and you can see in her email message from July 1st that she wanted us to ship it.  We use natural wood, and all signs are customized.  We will not be offering a replacement sign for this customer.   [redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]This is not what happened.  I did not call or text them everyday but I did call in an attempt to get them to answer my questions.  All I asked them to do was to change the date of 'December 2016' to 'July 2016' because we were trying to pay off our debts and would be finished earlier, Praise God.  The sign is the size that I wanted it, but who wants to pay $85  for a (10" X 15") sign plus $25 for shipping total cost $110 that you cannot clearly READ.  If this is something that he does all the time, why wouldn't he consider using a piece of wood where the KNOTS would not be in the words making them hard to read.  I have an older phone (not smart phone) so I couldn't clearly see how the TWO KNOTS would interfere with the words, but I did see it when I received it. Just want them to make it right.  Would they have sent this sign to their friend or would they have done something better? I just want their best too.
